indian mound reserve

We loved our hike through the Indian Mound Reserve, visiting both the Indian Mound and the Water Fall. The lower trails back to the mound were quite rough and washed away in areas.

I have visited this park many times and have really enjoyed the relaxing atmosphere of a walk in the woods. While the hike is not strenuous, it boasts nice views of a waterfall, a creek, and some fantastic boulders. This is a great family destination and would be great for photographers.

This is a great park/preserve. Easy hiking and walking for my little one, we did the longer hike to the waterfall, but you can park right next to it and easily walk (roll) to see it, with no steps involved. If you are able to hike down father to falls I recommend doing so, it is beautiful !

This small part is easy to walk, without any hard hiking involved. The waterfall is lovely, and very close to the road, close enough for even disabled persons to be able to view it. The mound itself is a part of a slightly longer walk that has some uphill parts. Over all this is a great park ideal for a light stroll, and getting out of the house for people of all ages.
