Learned a lot about Grant and his family. Short tour but lots of info and a few original artifacts. Drive from here to his boyhood home in Georgetown.

We enjoyed the guided tour. The Tour Guide was very knowledgeable. The grounds and the surrounding area is very pretty.

this is located in the small town of point pleasant and has a beautiful river as its background! I enjoyed the history of the grants there and the fact it is a small area and easy to get to from Cincinnati!

We've been there twice in the last month. The first time it was with one of our grandsons. The volunteer was wonderful with him, informative, asked questions, answered questions, etc. The second time was with out-of-state friends. We love to brag on our home state, and this is just one of those places that help. The location is a little out of the way, but very pleasant and picturesque.

Stopped last year but it was closed for some reason. This year it was open we stopped here during the Ohio Harley Owners Group rally just after stopping at Chilo Lock site. This site is on a park like setiing. There is Grant Park right across the street. A quick stop very inexpensive but for history junkies a must. Harrisons tomb is just on the other side of cinci in North Bend.

This humble 16.5 x 19 one-room home where Grant was born is amazing. Two rooms were added later. His parents rented this home. It is located on the beautiful Ohio River. So glad that it has been preserved. No regrets.

This stop won't take a lot of time. The small home - one room with an addition added later - was shown to us by an elderly docent who was efficiently knowledgeable and friendly. It is nice that the Ohio Historical Society has preserved the site and makes it available for the public.

I brought my kids out on a day trip to Grants Birthplace in Point Pleasant Ohio and the kids loved it. The tour was very quick because in those days the house were only one room. The lady that was giving the tour, has been doing it for 47 years! I really like how Ohio preserved the area and made it very visitor friendly. If you go across the street there is a little convenience store that has bubble gum pop rocks which was the kids favorite. Also if you went father you can see a great view of the Ohio.
