Looking for a distillery tour to take our drinking age children, we found the Hard Times Distillery nearby in Monroe. We called ahead to make sure someone would be there when we arrived. We were unsure when we arrived, but soon found the proprietor, Dudley. He has a moonshine business going in a semi-large warehouse and he is a delight. We received some education about making whiskey and vodka and enjoyed some samples. We walked out with three bottles. The Blue Collar was so good, we couldn't help ourselves when we got home.
