You won't be disappointed in the Sunday Brunch. Food is delicious - especially the fresh pan-friend oysters!! Staff is great and you can enjoy 2 glasses of wine with your meal. What more could you ask for? It's worth the drive

Just returned from our first brunch at Eola Hills Winery at Rickreall, Oregon. As you pull into the driveway to the winery from 99W, do not be fooled by the small parking area in front of the building. There is plenty of parking in the back.We walked in through the front door, and there is a small gift shop to your right. All things winery are available to purchase. To your left is the line for checking in. One thing we found out, even though you have a reservation at a certain time; you are in the same line as those patrons who show up without. It takes some time.Once you are checked in, you are shown to a table and introduced by your staff person "the lay of the land." There are various stations to stand in line for the cooked item you want. Today there were: oysters, eggs benedict, omelets, waffles, crepes, salads/dressings, fruit, and various desserts. It was all very good.There are wait staff walking around taking away your dishes, to make way for your next selection in front of you served on a new, clean plate. Up at the check in area, are the wines you can select from to drink while you are enjoying your meal.Even though it was raining and grey outside, it was warm inside. It is a win/win. There were numerous groups attending today. Many ages, small or large groups, there was plenty of room.It was fun to go to, and our son who was visiting from the east coast, thought it was a delicious way to start his visit.Many thanks to Eola Hills Winery~

We enjoyed the Sunday brunch with our daughter and son in law to celebrate my husband's birthday. Had never been to a brunch at a winery so this was our first experience and something different to do for a 70th birthday. We had reservations so a table was waiting for us even though they were very busy. Due to the crowd, a host explained the set up to us rather than taking us around to show us. I really liked knowing ahead of time where the different stations were located for the different foods so that we could pick and choose when we wanted to eat what. Would have preferred a less busy day but the layout and staff did an excellent job of taking care of so many guests. I had not realized it was in a wine cellar so was a bit disappointed with no view but I would have known if I had read more about it before we went. The Willapa Bay oysters were the big hit with the men and with many others that day. I couldn't count the times my son-in-law came back with oysters, even after having dessert. My favorite was the hazelnut waffles with marion berry butter and marion berry syrup. Wonderful! As a reviewer before me said, we weren't particularly happy with the chairs either but could see the reason for them. Not being much of a wine drinker, I had the sangria which was more like a punch and very good. A fun experience with family.

Been coming here for 25 plus years when in town! Worth the drive! Amazing food, and of course wine :-) Service is Great!

I'm reviewing the Sunday Brunch that Eola Hills Winery offers. Boy do they have this down to a science. The brunch is inside a wine barrel lined area in their gift shop and wine tasting building. You can also eat outside as well. First at the wine bar you receive two coupons that entitle you to two glasses of wine with your food. This is included in the brunch price. You find a table and make your way to the food.The dining area is set up with separate stations. Employees are cooking and serving Fried Willapa Bay oysters at one station, Eggs Benedict at another, plus waffles, crepes, and omelettes at their respective station. In addition there is a self-serve table with salads, hash browns, sausages and other offerings in heated chafing pans. Desserts are on their own table. There is juice, tea, hot and cold, as well as several coffees.Staff quickly clear any dirty dishes from your table and are always there to fill your ice glass.My ONLY complaint, an annoyance actually, is the plastic outdoor chairs. They are uncomfortable and make an awful noise on the concrete floor when moved. It might not bother anyone else, but it did bug me.

Eola Hills was a new-to-me wine. I had a glass of their Pinot Gris with lunch at Crater Lake Lodge as we were traveling through Oregon. What a coincidence to see their winery as we were driving to Tillamook. We stopped and enjoyed a quick tasting and found more delicious wine selections. Their gift shop had many interesting items.

One of our favorites for wine tasting. Nice collection of Pinots from Oregon and Lodi, really love some of them. Some old vine varietals. Tastings are free. Lots of specials available. The incredible Sunday brunch smells great, but you have to make reservation because they are full. They do weddings and events in a lovely garden with a fish pond with water lilies. The best deal we have found.

I have been here several times for brunch and really enjoyed it so decided to pick this place for Valentine's Dinner.We had a 6 pm reservation but they didn't seem ready to open at that time. We were seated but the food was not ready to be served. We were happy to find we would get our own table though, which was nice. The band set up about 30 min after we arrived. It was nice that they weren't too loud. We thought there would be dancing, but no.I realize this is a winery, but we were from out of the area and didn't want to drink too much because we had a drive home after, but they didn't have any non-alcoholic options initially. Eventually they did, but it was warm.The food was OK, but I was not as impressed as I have been with their brunch. Especially for the price we were still hungry when we left and stopped at Burgerville. Plus, they only had the buffet to allow diners on one side so the line was always at least 5-10 people long, if not longer. Neither of the salads were good. We both liked the pasta bar best and the Kahlua cake.We will return for brunch but find somewhere else for Valentine's next year.Also, they need to add more bathrooms.

Good wines, reasonable prices. Outdoor setting is nicer than inside. The barrel room is lovely, except for the plastic chairs. Very congenial staff. The wine tasting bike rides every August are a blast.

This was once a great destination brunch . Although the service staff and winery hosts do a great job . The quality of the food products , presentation , and menu just seemed inferior and lacked the wow factor that once was there when we dined there over past decades . Some of the desserts are homemade but presentation is poor and they are plated very sloppy . They used to have a fabulous carving station . The Sunday we went all they had for meat was a chaffer full of chunks of some cheap brand of ham that was barely warm . Omelets are made with some kind of powdered liquid eggs . No light fluffy omelets any more . I didn't finish mine and threw it out. The Benedict is a trio of traditional , seafood , and a vegetarian . The hollandaise is not made from scratch some powdered mix and the seafood is canned shrimp and imitation crab . That's just wrong when we live in a state that has the best crab in the world and wonderful fresh caught shrimp. The salad bar as they call it is a joke . It consisted of a Caesar salad with brown lettuce and some bottled dressing . A Greek Cucumber salad and fresh fruit thrown a platter . To try to say something at all positive about this tried out old brunch is their pan fried oysters that where delicious . They were they ONLY thing we enjoyed . There was a bike ride from the winery the same morning we were there with a large number of riders . They had already eaten breakfast there and would be returning around noon for brunch . All of the chef's looked so tired and 200 cyclist didn't make for a very relaxing brunch . Sadly one of the best brunches in the state has over extended themselves . Everyone working there seemed burnt out and so did the brunch . For $24.95 we will not return .

Stopped by on Thursday to redeem a couple Half-Price Salem certificates. Wine-tasting is complimentary (wow!!!! that's cool!) Ann took us on a nice tour of wines, very informative and helpful. I was able to use both certificates in the same visit---came home with grape seed oil ( yes I know, random but my husband wanted some!) and a bottle of wine.Tasty wines, lots of information and affordable. Very pretty setting, we will go back! Can't wait to take friends and family there!

This winery has a great staff and many special events. They have good wine and their food is excellent (brunches, parties, special events), so it's worth it to drive out and visit them.

My 3rd event, always great food and wine, service is personal, ambience is like I'd like my Own Wine Cellar to be!

Was eager to try the Sunday brunch, but was expecting something different. Cheap molded plastic chairs and paper wine tickets? Food was abundant and pretty good, but it felt like a giant hog feed to me. Service was good and friendly, I just want to be a little more upscale for my $25 brunch. Is sort of a large cheap warehouse feel.

Excellent tastings, knowledgeable and friendly staff. Bought a few bottles to take home...a hit with our friends.
