We really enjoyed our time at this winery. Our B&B innkeepers recommended it , and we were glad we went. The inside hostess was a stand-in for her friend who was on vacation, and she was most gracious. The view on a warm, sunny September day from the outside patio was gorgeous eye-candy. During our self-guided tour days we kept meeting friendly tasters from Texas, and this winery was no exception. The patio was a great place to talk with other wine lovers while enjoying the tasting experience. Our outside host who served the wine needed to be reigned in a bit as he enjoyed having a captive audience to talk to at length, but that didn't spoil the experience or the wines which we thought were a good value. This vineyard doesn't have the best wines (i.e. not Bergstrom or Penner-Ash) in the region, but they are very good and sold at a good price point. We especially enjoyed the rose and the margo pinot noir and ended up buying a mixed case of the two.

Loved the hospitality and the family owned feel. Very hilly gorgeous landscape. Great representation of Willamette pinot noir!

The location of this winery is beyond beautiful. For $12 you get 4 pours - the first one, a rose was my favorite. (and previous to this I was not a big Rose fan) On a day with good weather (as we did) you can sit out on the patio and the staff will come out and pour your next tasting. It was such a beautiful setting Highly recommend it.

Overall the place is just perfect. Staff was super friendly. Location is so very scenic. Wines were delicious and not too young to be tasting like some of the other places we visited. We truly enjoyed our time here. Sitting by fireplace and tasting some great wines was awesome.

This winery is perfect! The wine was wonderful and the views were even better. Everyone was so helpful and friendly as well. It was a great place to unwind and relax. I would highly recommend this winery to everyone!

The wine was very good!! The winery was off the beaten path and was recommended by another winery. The views unbelievable. A great place to take some cheese and just relax with your wine.

We love this winery. It is a perfect spot for a quiet picnic and wonderful wine tasting with beautiful views of the Chehalem Ridge to the east and the coastal range to the west. Love the rosé, chardonnay and array of pinot noir.

First, I do not drink wine, but I will certainly consider it the next time. Second, get directions to this place and print them, it has a dirt road and many may have given up, but the jewel is there within reach, don't stop! Okay, my wife and I cut a trip short near the waterfalls hours east to make it to the winery on time before closing. I went off the top of my head and forgot a number of directions. You MUST follow the following directions of mine (or have their number and call the winery direct!). They are in Newberg, Oregon, just west of 5 freeway. Get to Newberg anyway you can and when in the city find the 240 hwy west (which is a small biway). 99 hwy, which is going through the city is important to pick up food at to take on your picnic to the location. 99 is also a good route to 240. When on 240 (you will see Leather Gas Station/Thriftyway/Leif Auto Collison at the corner of 240 and 99, you are exactly 9.3 miles from that point to the gate of the winery, so zero your odometer. You will start on 240 hwy and go 4.4 miles on a very well traveled paved road. You will be looking for the street named Dopp Street (WHICH IS A SIGN ON THE RIGHT SIDE OF THE ROAD). On the left side of the road at Dopp St is Young Road (WHICH I SAW, IGNORED THE SIGN ON THE RIGHT FOR DOPP STREET, WASTED A LOT OF TIME!). So when you see the Dopp sign after being on the 240 for 4.4 miles, make a right. From there, you go 4.1 miles to the winery. You will be on a dirt road for the last few miles and you will think you have lost your mind and way. Keep going on Dopp Road. When you see a horse crossing yellowing sign on the right side of the road, you are 1 mile to their gate. Keep going, watch your speed, and go, go, go! When you come up on their winery, it is on the right side of the road with a huge nice bridge sign. Go up the dirt driveway and park. The place is like Disneyland in the middle of nothing. You have tons of parking, tons of people, and wine to be had. Bring your picnic, but no alcohol. Go in, taste, then go outside and enjoy the view. The drive is well worth it, but can be worrisome, as I thought I was totally lost. Just follow my directions and print them out. If you run into Melissa there, she completely was accommodating for allowing us as she was closing down after 5pm. Give yourself plenty of time to get there, stay at least a few hours, and enjoy. It is completely worth it. WATCH YOUR SPEED DOWN THE HILL OFF THE PROPERTY ON THE DIRT ROAD, YOU WILL GO IN A DITCH IF YOU GO TOO FAST!)

A group of 10n of us set out on a day of wine tasting. We stopped at Colene Clemens and had a lovely stop. The day was sunny so we sat outside on the patio overlooking the vines and had a lovely time. We enjoyed talking to Erin and learning about the vineyard. It was one of our better stops during the day.

Colene Clemens is one of the better wineries in an area filled with great wineries. Oregon Pinot Noirs are great.

We visited this winery primarily because of the beautiful views. This winery is roughly two years old and I feel like there is some room for improvement. I was a bit torn based on our experience because there were some really great things but I must say I felt a bit ripped off compared to my other winery experiences. Positive - *Great views and very peaceful*Wine was decent *Girls working there were very niceNegative - *Way over priced - Tasting consisted of two Pinot Noir's and a Rose that were ten bucks per person. A bottle of Pinot was $48 or $52. A glass of wine was $15. *No cheese, crackers or anything to purchase. We were brought 5 crackers after we said we were starving.*Your car is covered in dust by the time that you get up the gravel road

The most gorgeous vineyard site and tasty wines, too! We wished they had some food items so we could stay longer. Bring your own snacks.

We go straight to the north end of Ribbon Ridge and climb up to Colene Clemens every time we hit the Willamette Valley wine region. The winery is slightly removed from the better known venues down around Dundee but that allows for spectacular views with no crowds. They specialize in Pinot, of course, but produce one of the finest Rose's on the west coast, if not the entire US... and its only $20! No tasting fee with a purchase. Bring some friends, bring a picnic, buy a bottle or two, sit outside and soak it all in. This is Oregon wine country at its finest. Colene Clemens is a jewel. Always at the top of our list.

Great wine, BEAUTIFUL views and a cute dog...the building is new and very charming. We will definitely be back.

Truly excellent pinot noir at about 60.00/ bottle.
