We played in just over 4 hours starting at about 11:30. The staff was friendly and senior green fees were reasonable. The course is well maintained and greens are in good shape. The tee boxes were particularly well manicured and nicely maintained.
The Mrs, me and two of our friends gave this place a try. The front 9 had some epic hills to get up but were a lot of fun. The back 9 was not as hilly and was a little easier. The staff here was very friendly and helpful. The things were somewhat of a challenge were:1. No drink cart. The day were were there, there was no drink cart working. This would have been ok except for challenge #22. There was no water for golfers available at the tee offs. With challenge #1 there should be water available at the tee offs. I have golfed at various courses that had water available at the tee offs. Some of the cart paths between the green and the next tee off were not paved but were covered with rock. This made for a little bit of dust for the two golfers behind you.The only food available when we were there was some pre made sandwiches and hot dogs. There seemed to be no grill available for other types of food. You might consider bringing some sandwiches along.Over all, now knowing what we know, I would give this place another try.
Outstanding golf course! Be sure you have lots of energy to play the front nine due to the elevations!!
Changes seem to be happening in Carson City and apparently has affected the management of this course. Over all course in good condition. Sadly though club house has made some changes to amenities previously offered. Greens were good and enjoyed most the round with friends. Unable to finish round as needed to catch a plane, plus at 5 1/2 hours we had enough of the extremely slow play. No marshals on course to keep things moving and sadly very overbooked.
Front nine offers elevated tee, fairway, and approach shots. Great views of the Carson City area. Back nine is differeent, but interesing. Flatter terrain, but still fun and interestng holes. Course contitions are always real good! I've always enjoyed playing his well cred for course. Good value for the pricing. Mike
Great hamburgers and drinks, and nice '50s decor. Kinda hidden from the main drag of town, but you won't be disappointed! Ice cold beer on tap, with some really good microbrews. Recomended!
My husband and I played this course in August and enjoyed it. The price was reasonable and included a cart; check www.golfnow.com for specials. The front 9 has interesting elevation changes while the back 9 is somewhat flat.
