We were camped out near there, at the White River Campground, which is in itself, one of the best kept secrets of the area. Lots of meat bees, so watch out for them. They sting!!

$12 for a day pass now, instead of $10. Not much has changed since I was here 2 years ago, but it was nice to kick back and relax for 4 hours, even tho you aren't supposed to bring in food or drinks from the outside we did. Just wish it was a closer drive from Porterville...they have lockers available for your clothes, just bring your own lock.

This place is just a man made swimming pool and hot tub next to a really bizarre general store & restaurant. A total miss, in my opinion.

Love to go there in the winter and soak in the natural hot springs fed jacuzzi and swim in the warm pool where one can see the natural minteral waters coming out of the mountain side. Bath house, restrauant, botiques all under one roof. Nice little getaway. Great for those with aches and pains. The waters are very soothing, and a healthy way to get exercise swimming in the pool. Campground nearby.

Hardly worth the effort to get there- food will sustain you, but nothing of mention. Foothills loaded with the hills have eyes kinda peeps.

This is a good pot stop. Nice restrooms, snacks, some groceries and travel information. The pool and hot tub have been there since the 1920's and are fed by the hot springs. The water in the pool is kept in the 80's all year round. The staff were extremely helpful and congenial. It' s a nice stop.

We have been enjoying CA Hot Springs for the last 13 years. My husband's family has been coming here for over 50 years. My in-laws honeymooned here! We love it! Mary and Ron Gilbert have a wonderful place. The pools are amazing! They really cure what ails us! The food is good, the store is charming and the views are lovely! This is a great place to spend the day, swim and enjoy the weather all year long!!!

California Hot Springs was kind a long drive from Visalia. When we got there finally, it was just one big building with an outdoor pool (with Spring water). The deli was fine....average prices. The ice cream was good. To go swimming in the pool would have cost us $10 apiece. There were also two spa tubs. So it was nice. I did not care for the Long windy road to get there. There are lots of steers to see. There are no evergreen trees along the way. I think that it was a trip to do out of curiosity. But, I doubt I will ever do it again.
