d & f pack station

My family went on a two hour "Lake Ride" along the shore of Huntington Lake. We all had a really fun time. I was impressed with the quality of horses and how well they are cared for. I have seen other pack stations that have ill cared for stock. The owner and the cowboys were all very friendly, safety oriented and helpful. The staff did a great job of matching the horse to the rider. Children were required to wear helmets.The Lake Ride was on a trail that paralleled the shore of Huntington Lake. At times the trail was dusty but the views were very nice. There are other rides into Kaiser Wilderness that I did not take.
