vasona lake county park

The playground is well-maintained as well as the facilities. There is filtered water available at one of the restrooms. This is my favorite place to walk any time of year.

I haven't been in awhile. But I have great memories from playing here when I was younger. Beautiful stuff to look at and such a great place to spend time with family.

This is a great place for a walk or a picnic. I have a car pass so I don't have to pay to visit each time I go there

we saw their yearly event, Flight of lights and OMG, it indeed was..Though we waited for 2 hours in traffic to be here, but it was totally worth the wait... Must visit every year.

Here is great for kids and families to play.Unfortunately, not until after dark, did not see the beautiful Christmas lights.

This is a great place to visit -- even during the holiday season. Few people realize what a great park is in their neighborhood. This is worth the visit.

This park is a great place to walk for an hour or two. Big Lake. Some shady paths. Very secure. If you're a senior, get a Senior Pass to avoid the $6 parking fee.

Loved the Bands in the park event Saturday! Big turn out and everyone dancing including the kids.Plenty of room to run around and lounge.Parking was a challenge though

This is a nice park with a lake you can fish in for bass or catfish. We've had several bar-b-q parties here and the scenery is very nice. They also rent paddle boats which are always fun.

Beautiful park, nice trails, two playgrounds for kids, a mini-train and carousel, a big lake you cant rent small boats, views of the mountains...

Stopped in quick to check it out while in town for a wedding. 6 bucks to park, no problem. I guess you could park for free in the surrounding area and walk in. Lots of activities. Also, there was a random GTE phonebooth in the middle of the park. Very random and very 1994.

Vasona lake is great place for weekend fun. BBQ, lake, kayaying, Boating , train ride and what not!!!Fun.. LOTz of it...

Great place to go by yourselves or with a large group. Biking, walking, roller blading trails. Boating, Kayaking and Stand up Paddling by the lake. Plenty of shade to laze in. train ride, carousel and play structures for the kids. and in the winter the Fantasy of lights display is one of the best of its kind in the area. Drive through the park as you see lighted displays throughout the park. and easy access to hwy 17 too!

We love going to Vasona Park for their holiday Fantasy of Lights in December. You drive through the park seeing magical Christmas lighted scenes. Its so fun.The other times of the year it is fun to visit the park for picnics and outside fun.

This park is beautiful and there are many recreational activities to do here. The Boat House rents out paddle boards, pedal boats, kayaks and sailboats, or you can bring your own. The trail is great to walk, run or bike. There is a lot of room for barbeques and other sports if you want play volleyball, football, frisbee, soccer or anything else. You will sometimes see weddings here as well, since it is a beautiful location. Parking is $6. There is a separate dog park in this park as well.
