We didn't play golf, but we did have lunch and cocktails on the terrace. The views were stunning and the food was very good. It was unsurprisingly very expensive, but worth it for the location. Will definitely be back with my husband who is an avid golfer.
Playing this course was definitely worth it. Get a caddy and walk the course. The round was slow, but hey...that just means you get to enjoy the course and the views even more. We went two weeks after the Pro-Am and the course was in amazing condition.
You've seen beaches, you've seen golf courses...this brings them both together like nothing you've ever seen. Even if you don't play golf, come out and watch an event or have lunch at The Tap Roo or one of the other restaurants and stay to watch the sunset. You'll be glad you did!
If you are a golfer, when you die an go to heaven - this is where you come!Iconic golf links on the stunning Monterey peninsula.Beautiful course but not for the feint of heart!Play it if you get the chance :-)
Very expensive $495.00 was the going rate this past January plus to play you have to stay for two nights. Better be a very good golfer with lots of cash or credit!
Truly a dream come true. Costly, but can you put a price on a dream trip. Called the day before and secured the last time of the day. The course is amazing and the service is top notch. Only complaint was my score.
I spent a week in Pebble Beach volunteering at the AT&T National Pro-AM in February 2015. This is without question one of the most beautiful spots on earth. The weather was as perfect as it could be -- 70 degrees and virtually no wind....for all four days of the tournament.I highly recommend a visit if you're ever in the area. While there I had the opportunity to take some photos of the famous 18th hole at dawn. Enjoy.
After having the most wonderful experience of my golfing career with wonderful views and fantastic condition I have to inform people about the caddie experience to make sure it does not ruin your day. Please be beware that about 10 minutes before you play if you are sharing a caddie with another player you are told to take all your bits out your golf bag as the caddies use one of "their own golf bags" This is just a pain and could not see any reason why so I asked to be told they like to have single strap bags just beware. So with four players we have two caddies how spent most of the day chatting with each other and give little advice to any player if they are of a forward tee. They did not walk back to tees with the players as they wanted to take as short a walk as possible for themselves (very poor) as if you get to a tee you cannot change your club or even ask advise. One thing that really upset me was the caddie would pull out about 6 clubs (3 from each player) and walk from where he left the bag with them clicking against each other and then if he had got the wrong club you were under pressure to take what "HE" had decided you had to play. My recommendation is either have your own caddie or do not take one and save yourself about $180. The green fee was $495 which I thought was worth it for the views of great houses and coast line and a wonderful course in great condition just think about the caddie and don't let it ruin your day as it can.
Amazing scenery, classic cars, restaraunt and golf! Whale watching from the Bench and Stillwater all while watching people finish the 18th hole.
Can't say enough great things about this course. A wonderful experience if you can get the chance to play it. Bring your short game because every hole will demand something good from you. The caddies do a wonderful job to help which is a lot of fun too. Forget about your score and enjoy the experience.
A hard/ long course, but enjoy the view and the experiences cuz ur playing @ Pebble Beach. A lot of photo opts
Amazing golf!!! The only con is paying attention to your game since the views are so beautiful!!!At the end the restaurant Stillwater is a great place to eat and unwind!
imagine the ocean, the dunes, the breeeze, the sun, unobstructed views on the ocean and deers! Worth the 10$ bill to pay at the entrance of the pebble Beach area. and don't forget it get reimbursed if you buy lunch or dinner at the Pebble Beach restaurants, which is Worth a million!
As a golfer, this course has been on the bucket list for a long time. The course simple one of the most beautiful places I have ever been. Even if your not a golfer, a walk along the course's cart path is a must of you find yourself in Carmel. The staff is warm and inviting. I can not say enough great things about Pebble Beach.
Take a turn down here for a relaxing spin along some of the most scenic views California has to offer. Wild and rugged coastlines. Towering forests. Film star houses. All is included on this drive. It costs you $10 to get in, but that goes to upkeep etc so you can't begrudge that. Stop off to get pics of 13' waves breaking onto shore while birds off all kinds sit and watch you take in all of this amazing view.
