A legendary club. Burnt down in '07. But the new Micky's is built with bricks & fire sprinkers this time. Amazing on the weekends: open till 4am. although it starts to 'peter-out' after the sale of booze ends :-( But it's always packed. However the service area is across the dancefloor, so the barbacks are bringing used glasses and supplies across a crowded dancefloor (a design flaw?) It's ALWAYS fun, exciting and ":edge-y". Word of extreme caution: over the years, they employ EXTREEMLY rude doormen. I have witnessed several violent encounters with patrons, who have drank too much. They think nothing of fisticuffs! I can attest to that! My shoulder was broken in '09. By a doorman. I was VERY intoxicated and he threw me on the sidewalk. I had to have surgery. And am disfigured now. But had no witnesses for me, and no recourse. But beware, I'm not the only one they mistreat. Be smarter (than I was) However, my one-time misfortune, does not diminish or detract from This PLACE IS AWESOME to go dancing!! Just (try) to behave yourself! Always had a reputation for being a "cruisy" spot and great place to 'get some action". Enjoy!

I have been going to Micky's for years. As a matter of fact, I went on my first date with now my husband in 1997. We have been coming back for years. There are always lots of go go dancers, drinks are strong, average prices. And a decent size dance floors. After hours during Friday and Saturday night. There are theme nights almost every night of the week and good DJs, There are several big screen TV, so there is never a lack of visual stimulation. It's not Cheers, but friendly bartenders ease your anxious mind if you go there alone.

Our group is a mix of gay and straight, as soon as I knew we were going to Hollywood I knew Micky’s had to be done. The bar service was super fast, I’d emailed ahead and asked to book seats - we were given amazing seats at the end of the runway and got to see the performers up close. And I got to meet Morgan McMichaels! I can’t wait to get back to Hollywood and visit Micky’s again!

We go here with both gay and straight male and female friends and we all have a great time. This bar has 2 sections, upstairs and downstairs, with a designated dance floor at the bottom while the top bar plays different music. Here you'll find male dancers, some extravagant queens depending on when you go, and an eclectic crowd. I'm a straight female, and actually enjoy it here more than The Abbey. Drinks are a bit cheaper here, and the dance floor isn't a walk-through trying to get to the bar. They do stay open later than 2, but everywhere stops serving alcohol at this time. Before 2, we never had to pay cover. Good time overall!

I visited Micky's twice, October 2 and Oct 3. The place was clean, friendly and lively. The bartenders were absolutely amazing, What was fascinating was that in spite of the crowds the bartenders remembered who I was, AND, even remembered what I had to drink and how many I had the night before..............I'm definitely not the "remember-able" type.

Last Sunday July 22, I was assaulted by an employee at Micky's. I was walking through the bar, along the side where the dancers perform, and a woman shoved me. I turned around and said, "excuse you," and asked why she pushed me. She began mouthing off to me and then the dancer she standing in front of leaned down and got involved. He began cussing me out and shouting at me. I told him that it didn't involve him and was between the woman and me. Security came over to find out what was going on and in that moment, the dancer reached down and slapped me across the face. The head of security was called over, he asked me to step outside with him to talk. When outstide, he told me that I was not going to be allowed back in the bar. He informed me that the woman is the gorlfriend of the dancer who assaulted me. I told him that I was going to call the police and file charges of battery against their employee. He said that the dancers are independent contactors and not employees of the bar and I had every right to call the police if that's what I chose to do. He also told me that I could speak to Aaron, the Bar Manager, if I wanted to but that he was not there last night and I would have to wait until Monday afternoon to call the bar after 5pm to talk to him. Obviously he doesn't understand that in California, any person who is contracted to do work at a place of business (whether it be temporary or permanent, independent contractor or direct hire) is a legal agent of that establishment and is considered an employee. I immediately contacted 911 to report the assault and the 911 Operater, Jackson, asked me to call back on the non-emergency line. I called her back and she told me it would be over an hour before they could get an officer to the bar. As I waited, the person in charge of the dancers came out and asked if I could point out to him which employee it was who assaulted me. I was allowed back in the bar, I pointed out the dancer who struck me and then escorted back outside. Apparently, no one wanted to fess up and tell who it was who had committed the assault, so they needed me to come back in and point him out. The Sheriff's deputies finally arrived at about 1:15am (incidentally, the Sheriff's department is directly across the street from Micky's) by which time the employee had already finished his shift and left the bar. The officer took my information, I gave her my report of the incident, she talked to the head of security and another person wearing a headset who I'm assuming was the Manager, and then let me know that she would be filing the report for battery and investigators would be talking to the employee. What really irritated me about this whole incident, aside from actually being assaulted by their employee, was that no one at anytime apologized to me for what had taken place. The head of security never apologized, the guy in charge of the dancers never apologized, no one did. I was completely disregarded, the staff made it very clear that they just didn't care about the customer. While I waited for the police, everytime a staff member came outside and saw that I was still standing there, they would immediately look away so as not to make eye contact with me. In my book, this is extremely disrespectful. When the police left, I even took it upon myself to go up to the person who I assumed was a Manager there and told him that it was nothing personal and that I wish it didn't have to come to that. He spoke at me (I say at me, because while we talked, he never looked me in the eye, he looked around me, over me, even when he offered his hand to shake he didn't look at me) and said it was no problem, but again never offered an apology for his employee's actions. I will never return to Micky's and I have asked all my family and friends who live in the area to do the same. The support I've received from friends, family and fellow veterans has been overwhelming and I hope Micky's will take a second, more serious, look at who they hire.

We went there on Friday and Saturday nght! they had great drink specials and had a cool environment. A very fun and hip place to go in West Hollywood. I would go back in a second!

We thought this club was a bit cheesy, with go-go dancers all over the place and a lot of tipping going on, but the worst experience with this club is coming after 2am on a Friday and they make you pay $12 per person to get in, without telling you that there is no alcohol inside. I recommend getting in some liquor to consume after two at your hotel room, as LA is dry after 2pm regardless of paying a cover.

It's been a long wait for Micky's to re-open after the fire. I've been a regular patron for many years back. Sunday night (DECADE) has always been my favorite night there. Great music and dancing. Fun to hang with friends there. Went last night and had a blast, although there were a couple things they need to work on (still after all this time). If there was any A/C in the dance floor area, you couldn't tell - uncomfortably hot. And there should be no drinking on the dance floor - broken glass and slippery floor from spilled drinks is not a good thing. The place has been packed each night since the opening and so far, looks like they will continue to do well.

Floozies! Drag Show, is the funniest and most outrageous Drag Show in West Hollywood.Wednesday nights, Micky's and Anthony Lopez house the hysterical revue hosted by the legendary "Bridgette of Madison County", and the over the top "Honey Suckle"! $2 well drinks and draft beer specials tempt the pocket book, while the hot go-go boys in jock straps tempt the rest of the pants. It was THE best night out in Weho! Check it out!

Je suis ravi d'avoir trouvé, à deux pas de la chambre d’hôte, ce petit bar des plus sympathiques. Excellent vin, barman adorable et danseurs à croquer :-) Cadre très agréable!
