Not something worth traveling any distance for, but something interesting to look at while waiting around at the mall. There is a little video playing and a hallway full of Marris/Baseball items. But it is FREE. :)

Well it's located in a mail downtown. It's small, but the film dedicated to is life and career is Worth to be seen. The rest is behind a glass window. You learn a few thing from a great baseball player. Personal note what a bad thing that is still not a baseball hall of fame !!!!

Visited the mall for after Christmas and stopped at the museum. The exhibit is free and I enjoy sitting in the little theater watching the Roger Maris movie. A great addition to the mall.

Maybe not a reason to go out of your way to see but if you are in the area and are a baseball fan you should stop by. It is a display in a mall and has some nice memorabilia.

If you are in Fargo there is no reason not to stop, as there is not much to do in the area. It is right in the mall, and really just a presentation of memorabilia and recreation of his locker. I am a baseball fan, and was going to be at the mall (three times in my 2 week stay). You probably cannot spend more than 1/2 hr. Even if you are not a sports fan, but at the mall, definitely worth a look.

This is great for sports fans - a free exhibit of Roger Maris memorabilia and so well presented. easy access during mall hours at West Acres shopping mall. highly recommend this.

stuck away in a corner of the mall that is not used much, you would not notice it unless you were looking for it, small, set back area. Definately not worth the visit unless you are a huge Roger Maris affectionato. Even then I think you would be disappointed.

Photos were awsome and it was fun seeing all his accomplishments. It would be nice if the Mall would expand on the exhibit.

Worth the trip especially if you are a baseball person. We watched the film and viewed the displays. It was a Saturday afternoon at the mall and noisy. It was difficult to hear the film. Try going at a more quiet time.

We visited on Friday, September 12, 2014. This is located in a regional mall, West Acres. There is an entrance on the south and east side, "Maris Entrance". This is a free attraction.I was a boy when Roger Maris hit 61 home runs in 1961. At that time we had no professional team to watch so we followed the Yankees. There is a small "theater" with genuine baseball stadium seats and a large flat screen television. There are various documentary-like videos that last about 4 or 5 minutes and then a different one will start in about 30 seconds. I could have stayed all day! Then there is an entire wall along the mall corridor with Roger Maris memorabilia: baseballs, trophies, photos, newspaper and magazine stories, etc. I really think you need well over an hour to look at and read everything. This brought back a lot of memories!

Free museum in the West Acres mall that showcases Fargo's own Roger Maris the legitimate steroid-free single season home run king. 61 in 61. If you're a baseball town and in the area a great little place to stop. A modest museum for a modest man.

Small free museum inside of the Fargo Mall. Lots of Roger Maris information. Even the non-baseball fans in our party enjoyed it. I loved sitting in the orignal stadium seats. Very interesting video. It is well worth the stop and in a beautifully decorated mall.

A sweet little museum in a shopping mall in Fargo, dedicated to a man who seemed like a really great guy and a great ball player. Well laid out and presented, with videos as well. Open whenever the mall is open (even before the stores are open) and available for anyone, just like Roger wanted it.

This is a small museum in a shopping mall but it is worth the trip. It is very well organized and presented. Our whole family liked it. You leave there with the feeling that Roger Maris was truly a good and decent person, not just a great baseball player. We also made to the trip to his grave site which was also worth the time.

Definitely worth a trip -- view the film (about 45 minutes) all about his life. Outside in the showcases are bats, signed baseballs, trophies, etc. Learned a lot about this remarkable modest man.
