If you spend any time driving the Olympic Peninsula coast, chances are you've discovered a dozen or so hidden gems, the newest one we uncovered on our spring trip was Compass Rose. A tiny "general store" that could have once been a gas station and is now a one-stop-shop for nautical souvenirs and fishing-gear.The owner Bob was wonderful and very informative, it was a pleasure chatting with him as we shopped around. We ended up buying an incredible authentic Native American carved owl mask that was *perfect* for the gallery wall in our home. What a treasure!If you're passing through, make a point of stopping in at Compass Rose, you'll be more than happy you did!
