The organic apples are disappointing and too expensive! Go there for the experience. But my wife and I focus on the Stewart Meat stall. We have tried all of their jerky and pepperoni and we have decided that they have the BEST turkey jerky by far. We wish that they would also sell their huge custom pickles there, but they only do so at their store in Yelm. We always buy a pound of the turkey jerky, mindful, (because they do not use preservatives) that it will not last long on our trip to Oregon without proper refrigeration.

Overall, I liked this market, parking was easy and lots of clean and healthy organics. They also had an ATM machine if you don't carry cash like me. Great food selections available too, I recommend the tamales.

Great Farmer's Market. Produce outstanding, as well as seafood and meats. Vendors are all local and very friendly. Visited the Farmers Market twice, Friday and Saturday.

As farmer's markets go, this one is not large. It's small and charming. All sort of fun stuff can be had. We like to drive up and start our afternoon with lunch at one of the little eateries in the market - a wide range of food choices. The times we have visited they had a live band. it was lovely yesterday - there we were, sitting in the chilly noonday, eating fish and chips and listening to the live band singing "California Dreaming" complete with flute player! We purchased some awesome goat cheese, salsa, veggies and amazing tayberry jam. Vendors are so friendly - as typical in these parts - and it's a laid-back, fun way to spend a Sunday (or Saturday for that matter). The lovely thing about Olympia is that it's never bumper to bumper, and we find it to be so special!

Great variety of things to look at and buy in this nicely placed farmers market. The Farmers Market is centrally located, close to everything in Olympia's City center. Great on the weekends or any of those days that are open especially, if you wish to just enjoy some yummy foods, live band, & great tastes of variety of local grown fruits. Great place to check out when you are in downtown Olympia.

My wife and I were visiting Olympia and took a stroll in downtown Olympia, visiting the market. We were quite pleasantly surprised with the variety of vendors here. Definitely take a stroll on a Saturday morning and consider the locally grown food and handcrafted items.Very nice experience.

Fresh, fabulous and friendly! Olympia's Farmers Market has something for everyone - fresh seafood, just-picked produce, warm pastries, beautiful bouquets, artisanal handicrafts, and smack-your-lips breakfast and lunch! (Best ever Crab Benedict!) and all of this is a block from Puget Sound. Stroll, shop, sample, and savor a beautiful morning at the waterfront. Downtown Olympia is a block away. Enjoy a stroll along the riverfront for a great view of the state Capitol building. Plentiful parking, clean restrooms.

We love shopping at the Olympia's Farmer's market and rate it as highly as any mid-sized venue we've visited in the state. The shops are diverse, with many locally grown and notably organic types of produce at fairly reasonable prices. The market is covered from rain and sponsors live musical groups. You can catch a bite from one of many food venders and relax to jazz, folk, western, blues or a mix of all music styles. A unique, Olympia experience! There's also a street musician or two who provide additional entertainment as you stroll through the booths. Stewart's Meats (from Yelm) is a popular vender and attracts a long line to prove it. We especially like Johnson Farms for their strawberries, if in season; the best in the area we believe. There are quality locally grown plants & flowers, as well as arts and crafts from local artisans. Well worth the visit, again and again.

This is not a huge market, but there are always lovely, fresh choices. Always good meat at Stewarts. It's a nice way to spend an hour or so.

We visited the market today and were able to buy dinner for several nights and lots of fresh fruit and veggies! I found fresh troll-caught King salmon, new potatoes, lots of veggies and treats for dessert. The market is clean and features food booths for lunch with a variety of offerings and music. There is a lovely patio for seating. There are crafts and jams, also. Ample free parking is just a few steps from the market. A wonderful Olympia gem near the pier.

I stopped in Olympia on the way back to Portland and was just driving around when I discovered this gem. I absolutely loved this market. They had a huge variety of fruits, vegetables, flowers and homemade goods. The homemade items ranged from soap, to lotions, to pottery. Great items all the way around. An ATM was available and there were some restaurants across the street as well. Adorable area of Olympia that I would definitely check out if in the area.

I returned for a visit last summer and was thrilled to find the Farmer's Market down by the pier.Lively, colorful, joyful, and abundant with all the best products the Pacific NW offers. Beautifulhandmade crafts (I got licorice soap!), and delicious fruits, wonderful meals at the littlewalk up restaurants. Something for everyone.

There are sooooo many great vendors at this market you had better go and visit it for yourself! Prepared foods, various baked goods, lots of produce both fresh and deliciously jarred, hand made crafts and beauty products, fresh seafood and much more with various live musicians at different times; an all around deliciously fun time that supports the local community.

We stayed with a local who took us here first thing after we arrived. We walked into the market seeing various stalls: vegetables, fruits, plants, herbs, seafood, jewelry, etc. The colors of all the produce was wonderful. It was packed with locals buying up goods. We bought most of the ingredients for our dinner here. The spirit of the Pacific Northwest can certainly be captured in these markets (think Pike's Place).
