This is a hidden gem! We went here for lunch and wine tasting, but the next time we plan to stay for a weekend. It is a beautiful property overlooking the Gorge with a restaurant, spa and tasting room on sight. The wine was good and staff were friendly. The resort also has free cookies and candy in the lobby. Who can pass up free cookies and candy?! :)

We spent some time here before seeing a concert at the Gorge and had a lot of fun. The grounds are beautiful, so we got some great photos to remember our trip. We did a tasting and were excited we got to keep the wine glasses as a souvenir. Definitely a good way to spend some time before seeing a show down the road.

We're just back from 3 nights at Cave B...stayed in one of the yurts and had wonderful views down the gorge. We had our golden retriever along, and the Inn is very dog friendly, with treats and poop bags in the lobby, and she was able to be out on the terrace with us as we had breakfast (breakfast was a bit spendy and sparse). Took the hike down to the river, but did it during the heat of the day (rookie mistake on our part), so it was a painful trek back up. Had a sweet young staff woman 'rescue' me with the golf cart and ice water for a lift up to the yurt. Surprised by the wine when we did the tasting...we liked almost everything we tasted, and nice conversation with Kathy. Didn't feel pressure to buy, but we did. Excellent dinner in Tendrils our last night (did picnics in the yurt the other nights)...nice service from Gerry and Eduardo. Pool had just closed for the season, but looked nice. Bed in the yurt very comfy...would be nice to have had a micro, but we managed.

We stayed in the Yurts with the ‘get your yurt on’ deal, which was $135 a night plus tax, and a bunch of other disappointing add-ons. The yurts were infallible – they have really spent some money on the accommodation. The same can be said about the communal facilities such as the pool, main building and so on. However, the service was invariably complacent and unprofessional. Breakfast was such a disaster that we didn’t go back to the restaurant at all. We ended up getting our money back. Something seemingly insignificant like this can shape your whole opinion of a place. The yurts were amazing; we had walked down to the Columbia River but we will remember the terrible breakfast experience the most. This is a shame, but it’s how things work. We went to a lovely Mexican in Quincy which made up for it. The wine tasting was rushed and disappointing too, and they ended it with ‘so what are you going to buy today?’. Lots of potential badly realised.

This is right next to the Gorge and within walking distance of the entrance. A bit small to accommodate the crowds, but the staff is very helpful. Worth a visit while you are waiting on a show.

Did a Sunday brunch and the full wine tasting, walked the grounds including some of the trail down to the river. The brunch was O.K., but my daughters grabbed the last fruit right away and no more appeared for the rest of the day. There was no carved meat and the dessert selection was relatively modest. So mostly, it was ~$20 a piece for waffles and omelets, which is pretty steep ... and a totally kickin' view of the river.The wine was adequate, and the tasting pours were generous and there were 10 wines to try, including some of their reserves. But I was not overly impressed by the wines compared to their pricetags.The trails down to the river had rattlesnake warnings and did not really go well with our Sunday brunch attire - I recommend bringing a change of clothes/shoes if you intend to do both.

Went here to check it out because initially there was no available rooms for my dates. Days before my visit to this area a room became available but, with 3 guests and them not allowing 3 people in any unit other than the 2 bedroom, the over $800 a night price tag was a little much. Also the employee who phoned (we were on a wait list) was almost making the price up as she spoke. After only allowing 3 people in a 2 bedroom unit, they then wanted an additional $75 dollar fee for the third person, plus resort fee plus plus plus. While at the gorge we went to have a look at this hotel and yes it is located in a beautiful place and very close to the Gorge. However I did not feel welcomed at all. Wanted to go to the restaurant for lunch to sit on the deck and enjoy the surroundings, the weather and a nice lunch. They had a set lunch menu, very limited, and my friend was interested in one dish but didn't want the goat cheese or cilantro but was told that there were NO changes allowed! We were told by the "hostess" that because they expected it to busy the chef had no time to make changes! We didn't want them to totally change the dish, just eliminate a couple of things from the sandwich, but NO, too busy, which they weren't. Because we were there and it was already 2 pm, we thought we could take these things off the sandwich and would stay for lunch. Upon requesting an outside seat, lots of seats inside and outside, we were told no the outside seats were for guests staying at the hotel only! Ultimately we did not stay for lunch. THIS PLACE WAS NOT WELCOMING AT ALL and I will not be returning as I felt treated like a second class citizen by the $15 an hour non-hostess.And by the way, miss hostess, I CAN afford to stay at your place but will not ever be doing so.

Impressive setting for a winery 900 feet above the Columbia River on a high desert plateau located outside Quincy, WA. The Winery has a vast vineyard along with an excellent restaurant, unique accommodations including Cliffehouses, Cavern Rooms, Inn Rooms and Yurts with a SPA that offers a wide range of facials, body treatments and massages. Definitely a "must see" when traveling to Seattle from the east or make a special trip and take in the concerts at The Gorge just a few miles from the winery.

You can taste wines- good, but not great. You don't get the tasting fee back with purchase, but do get a wine glass. Large flight of whites and reds. Very friendly service and have a glass or bottle outside overlooking the gorge. Looking forward to staying at their inn sometime. Spectacular views of gorge and vineyards.

Tasty wines and a killer view. If it's nice outside, definitely grab an Adirondack and soak up the scenery. The business side of me wonders why they don't have more stuff for sale in their gift shop? They're missing out. I liked their blanc de blanc a lot. Check it out.

We are currently staying the weekend here for a concert. We are staying in a Yurt which I wasn't sure how I would like it but so impressed! The staff is very attentive and this place has exceeded my expectations! Had a great breakfast this morning and soon we will go to wine tasting and relaxing by the pool, then of course the concert!

Food and wine were superb, a great stop along a long trip from west to east WA. Want to return and spend a night in one of the "cabins" on the bluff!

Stayed at the Gorge campground for Watershed last year. This year, I stepped it up to a yurt at Cave B. Still felt like camping, but with a king sized bed, air conditioning, and indoor plumbing. Enjoyed the vineyard and orchard sites and the view. Enjoyed the pool. Good access to the concert venue. Staff was friendly. Downsides? Restaurant is a bit frou frou. Parking may not be on pavement. Prices were steep.Wine tasting is available. I'm not a fan of Chardonnay or Merlot...which represented 4 of the 5 samples our tasting day. I'd stay here again for concerts...but you must book early.

Wow! We stayed at Cave B in our RV for our 25th wedding anniversary. It is dry camping but the sites are open, level, and grassy. Easy in and out for a 36ft motorhome towing a vehicle.We were ALL BY OURSELVES and looked over the vineyards and the Gorge. We had access to the pool which, again, had a view that cannot be matched. There was a wedding taking place while we were at Cave B but there are so many beautiful winding paths that it remained a private venue for the happy couple with their families and continued to be a quiet retreat for the guests not involved in the ceremony. (we've been to resorts where you cannot escape from someone else's big day; so we really appreciated this) Even though they had that big event going on, the food and drinks were top notch (5 course meal paired with Cave B wines....spicy, fresh margaritas by the pool...yes please!) and every effort was made to meet our needs. Great service at every turn.We were also in the area to go to a concert at the Gorge Amphitheatre. We booked a spot at the Gorge Terraces for the night of the event, but had we known there was a walkway between Cave B and the theatre grounds we would have definitely continued to stay at Cave B! (same price point on top of it all)We really wish we could keep this our little secret but everyone (special thanks to Katie) and everything at Cave B deserves a shout out!

We ate here several times while in the are. The housemade yogurt panna cotta is pretty great, you won't regret trying it! (You'll probably order more than one.)Only complaint is that with the small menu we showed up just after breakfast one day and, as a vegetarian who can't eat gluten, I had a difficult time finding something for lunch. I ended up with soup. A really delicious soup, but still, soup. The cook couldn't be convinced to make me something (anything) off the breakfast menu instead- and it wasn't very busy. So the service isn't amazing- but it's a winery in a very small town doing much better food than you'd expect in such a place, so it's not really something you can complain about. At the end of the day, I'd still recommend it. And, dear lord, the view.
