Very nice displays of both Crazy Horse memorial and Native American history.Had a very good time watching the presentation on different Native American dances. Free with your admission to Crazy Horse Memorial.

Loved the history and learning about the culture. The displays were well done. Took us through several time periods to present day.

Very good museum, full of pictures, history, artifacts etc. Well laid out. So glad we went. there was nothing I disliked and I think everyone should take the time to see this.

There were several artisans and handmade items to see, and buy. The Native American dancers were wonderful, the whole area was clean and everyone that worked there (that I encountered) was friendly and informative.

Some interesting cultural things, not much that I did not already know. I have lived among the Wisconsin Indian tribes most of my life, and so there is not much new here. But it was fun to go through

I have a deep - seeded interest in Native American history, so I was looking forward to viewing the museum at the feet of Crazy Horse. I left with extremely mixed feelings; the Educational and Cultural Center has a remarkable collection of Native American artifacts, but it is not well organized and isn't very engaging. The entire (which is massive, btw) collection arranged in simple glass cases with dense information cards, making the entire facility look like a collector's home as opposed to a museum. And many of the bigger displays are dedicated to the sculptor rather than Native American history. There is potential for this museum to be one of the finest in the world, certainly the greatest assemblage of Native American artifacts. All thats needed is for the presentation to match the collection. I definitely recommend you visit the center to see the collection, but don't get your expectations up too high.

I am not clear where the Crazy Horse museum ends and Native American Cultural Center begins. However there were many craft booths set up and most had outstanding work available for purchase.

The museum was large & excellent, with lots of Indian artifacts. It also included wonderful Indian attire & paintings. There is a movie of the early work on the statue which was very informative and helped to give you a flavor of the enormity of the project. Don't miss that, as it will help you appreciate what is being attempted. Remember that it's not being funded by government money, but by donations. The items for sale were expensive, but we just enjoyed wandering around and admiring the Indian displays. There is also a photo gallery of the progress of the work on the sculpture over a number of years, which we found quite interesting.

I learned that the natives were fine with the title of Indian - it's the name of their college. Lots of great photo ops and info - loved it!

As other reviewers have noted, TripAdvisor lists three attractions for Crazy Horse. They are: The Orientation and Communications Center, the monument itself, and the Native American Educational and Cultural Center. All three attractions are located at the same address and you pay one fee per carload, $22 at the time of my visit, to park and to see all three. Note that if you visit during the day and want to return to see the laser show, you can get a free pass to return the same day without having to pay another $22.This review features the Educational and Cultural Center. We enjoyed all the displays of Native American crafts and exhibits. However, we found that the cost of crafts available for purchase was insanely high. We've been all over the west and many of the crafts available in this center are available from road side stands where you can buy the exact same crafts for 1/3 the price. It's only for that reason that I give this particular facet of the monument three stars.

Yikes! Avoid! This is by far the most terrible place I have ever been to! Avoid this place. It will cost you Fortune of nothing in return and the bathrooms are closed year round.

This is a very respectful tribute to the native americans. We enjoyed walking through the exhibits and the gift shop. Take your time to experience it.

If you love Native American culture and history, this is the place for you! There is an extensive collection of Native American clothing and artifacts, and information galore!

The whole Crazy Horse project seems to be more a memorial to the Korczak family than a genuine tribute to the Native American People. I was shocked by the patronising and egocentric informational video which is all about the Korczak’s and clearly explains how they control every aspect of the project. Save yourself some time and monet - don't go!
