What was once the grounds of the Tekawitha Orphange for Indian Children now sits a memorial park with features such as walking trail, volleyball courts, skatepark and ramps, basketball courts, playground area, horseshoe pits, picnic canopies with grills, stage with natural seating, RV pads, camping grounds and shower house and a memorial that stands tall in memory of all the children of the orphanage. This is a place to bring the family and spend the day, take the dog for a stroll, or sit in the shade with a book. The park sits on over 11 acres so there is plenty of room to enjoy the day for everyone in the park.
