I play this nine hole gem every summer on a golf trip to Vermont. I have played a lot of courses in Vermont, and this is definitely one of my favorites. Non-pretentious with a lot of character and a good value, this is the golfing soul of Vermont. Nice people here too! You might consider playing this, then heading to nearby Walpole, New Hampshire to play the nine hole Hooper course there, which is also outstanding for the same reasons that Bellows Falls is so special. Sure, there's a place for the upscale courses like Okemo, but this is one where I always come away feeling rejuvenated.
