herington historical museum

This little museum has all sorts of interesting displays which are well marked. The lady who was there when we went was friendly and answered any questions we had. NASA console was an interesting find in a railroad/farming town. Lots of railroad items, as well as some paintings done by a POW in a WWII POW camp that housed Germans in the 40s. Look for the dehorning trimmer...yikes! Worth a stop. Admission is by donation.
