Love our zoo. I love the fact that they keep expanding all the exhibits! Can't wait to take my kids here one day!

Excellent variety of animals and the enclosures were very clean and made for the comfort of the animals. The grounds are inviting. It's a great place to visit either by yourself or with the family.

I have lived in many places throughout the U.S. and I have to say that our zoo is the best! I love how natural everything is with the habitats. It is also great that we have received additional funding to add the penguins and expand some of the other exhibits...not to forget they are renovating the Rain Forest. CANNOT wait for it to open.My kids do not get bored here and I am so glad, I just cannot get enough of our zoo.

The zoo was very nice. The zoo grounds are well kept and they are in the middle of creating a new environment for the elephant and remodeling the . Most of the animals were indoors due to the cold, but the buildings that contained them were clean, bright and warm. We happened to be in the gorilla house during feeding time. It was very interesting to see their behavior.

I have been going to this zoo since I was 14 and I always enjoy going back. I am excited for the new elephant exhibit to be built and open. The tiger trek is great and you can get excellent views of the animals from the indoor facility. My favorite is and will always be the meerkat area. They are so cute and playful and just bring joy to my life.

Monkeys, lions, bears are in great habitats. Easy layout with with fun at every corner. Growing everyday. Don't miss.

The zoo has added so much in the last few years, so it is always nice to go check it out. Since we went in March, not all the foliage was out yet and the warm weather animals were mostly inside.

This zoo has everything for every age. It's not too big or too small. Extremely well kept grounds and displays. Friendly and helpful staff -- you can't go wrong with this zoo visit.

I have a season pass for grandparents so whenever we have a nice day (not too hot, not too cold) I often take kids to the zoo. Last week I took an 8 year old and a junior in high school, and they both were excited about the day. I like having a season pass because you can go for just a short time and not feel like you have to stay all day. We lucked out and got to visit with the elephant and penguin keepers and both these kids like to ask questions. Excited about their new area for the elephants! Also have down dates to go see baby penguins.

I have been to lots or large zoos around the country. Many are spread out so much that you can't see them all in a day without killing your feet. Sedgwick county zoo is an opportunity to see animals from around the world in about 4-5 hours. The newer exhibits... Tigers, lions and gorillas give an inviting look at the animals in decent enclosures. The all te favorite, the jungle is currently being remodeled and should be great fun. I also believe they have started progress on the new elephant enclosure. In addition to regular admission they have several other programs for children year round.

Wonderful place to take grandchildren plus a great place to enjoy a safe, peaceful morning walk. The price of a membership is well worth it. Would certainly recommend this zoo as a destination spot.

This is wonderful zoo and is easily accessible for all. The zoo keeps adding new exhibits and is continually updating older exhibits. It is one of the top three zoos in the country!

The Sedgwick County Zoo is a wonderful attraction. It's great for both kids and adults. Each exhibit provides abundant information about the animals contained in the exhibit.

One of the main attractions in Wichita is the Sedgwick County Zoo. Rightfully so too. This zoo has just grown and grown in the past 10 years. Everything from monkeys, tigers and bears - oh my!! Our newest addition will be an elephant velt - not sure that is the proper title for it but it will be spectacular when it's done. We had two wonderful elephants Stephanie and Cinda. Unfortunately Cinda passed away a couple of months ago of a heart attack. Stephanie is doing well even tho she lost her close friend. However, the works are in place to build an elephant velt, complete with a river that the elephants can wash in and there will be a boat ride through this waterway. Very anxious to see this come to fruitation. Of course there are other wonderful animals to watch and interact with. We have everything from penquins to tigers to gorillas, etc. If you visit, plan on spending the good part of a day to see and enjoy all of our animal friends! This is a MUST SEE attraction!!
