I really enjoy Granddads Bluff. I might be biased because I was born and raised in La Crosse, but I really believe that it is a must see for out of towners. You can see all of La Crosse from up top. The Mississippi River is also visible from the top. On a good day it is a beautiful view. There are a few trails up in that area and picnic tables.

Great view of LaCrosse. Take your camera! You will love all of the Fall colors if you go there in late September.

This is a must see and visit if you come to La Crosse, WI. In any season you will get a panoramic view of the Mississippi. River as it passes through three states and see the lovely valley below that is nestled in between the Minnosota, Iowa, and Wisconsin bluffs. The lookout point on top of Grandad's Bluff will give you a spectacular view of it all.

Grandad Bluff was truly breathtaking with views of La Crosse. Its worth popping up to have a look especially when you see an american train coming through and the actual size of it.

A trip to Grandad's Bluff is something every visitor and resident of the area should take. There's a lot of history to be seen and the view is amazing. Even if all you have is 15 min, it's worth not missing it. We enjoy having a little picnic up there. Nothing formal, just a kick back and enjoy the view. Great place for sun/moon photos and for watching storms or fog roll in.

Great views! Awesome place to go during the day and at night. I would recommend it to anyone visiting lacrosse.

I absolutely love Grandad Bluff and never get sick of the view regardless of how many times I've already been up there! The redesign has made the view and experience even better. Every time I have friends or family in town visiting, I take them to the Grandad lookout and many request to go back up each time that they visit. It's a great option for those who want a great view of the bluffs, river and city but may not have the mobility to be able to hike the surrounding bluffs for a view. I'd highly recommend this to any first time visitor to the area!

Grandad Bluff allows you to view the entire city of La Crosse and even some into Onalaska and not to mention it is gorgeous up there. Beautiful scenery and nice to take photos.

Great place to take selfies!! Loved being able to see the view of La Crosse from up there! It was even better being able to see it snowing up there. Bundle up though because it was cold!

This is worth the time! We live in La Crosse and we are always happy to take friends and family when they visit.

The bluff has good hiking trails. The peak has excellent view of La Crosse, Mississippi River and on a clear day an see Minnesota and Iowa. It's a great place to have a picnic and a view. Awesome!

I love to take my visitors up to Grandad Bluff! It's an amazing view and has fun little fact plaques all around. There's also a neat stone enclosure that has 2 fire places and electricity. It's also a fun drive!

It's been 20 years since I visited the bluff. It has been remodeled now with updated facilities and is still a great place for some fantastic views.
