My son's wedding reception was at Legend - the food, service and bar were wonderful. We were happy with the entire evening. There was a choice of 3 entrees and every person I spoke to was happy with their meal. My sister requested an Irish coffee at the bar - they asked her if anyone else at the table would like one. She said sure, everyone would. Within a few minutes they delivered 8 Irish coffees to the table! We were happy with the entire evening.

This is truly a beautiful course. Golf rates can be high some days but if you come on the right day the rates are reasonable. We've been twice now and the service has always been exceptional both on the golf course as well as at the bar and for dining. Our clubs were loaded onto our carts for us as well as into our car afterwards. The food is surprisingly good as well. I wouldn't have expected the level of quality for this area but we were very pleased. Both our bartender and server were very friendly and professional. We look forward to returning next summer.

My wife and I tried this place twice. Out of four entrees, none was edible. Both fish and pork had seen better days and stank.Ambience is great. Wish the food matched.Will give them credit for a good side salad with berries.

We played golf here on a Friday afternoon. After our round we had a couple of drinks at the bar and dinner. Golf was good and the fees were fair. The food was average. Confusing layout to the clubhouse. The staff was a mix of good and bad. Pro shop staff wasn't very polite or helpful. Bar staff was very good. Wait staff was above average. Will I come again? Probably if someone wants to come back but there are other options in the area.

Very little choices for a brunch and the food was very disappointing. Prime rib was tough, pasta dishes were tasteless, fruit salad didn't have any berries in it and the French toast dish was soggy! A waist of 29.95 per person. In the past they had crab claws, oysters on the half shell. Fresh fruit (including berries) and manta other choices. Moving forward we will find a new place to eat. Again, it's over priced for not many choices and mediocre food.

Nice location. Food quality and wait staff above average. Bar staff service fair to middlin and considering the prices being charged not an asset to this facility.

I was in a wedding last summer here. The location is a bit out of the way, but the venue is beautiful. The couple rented the entire venue and it worked out beautifully. They served food in one room and had a photo booth, DJ and drinks and snacks later in bar area. The balcony provided a lovely photo setting for couple.The wait staff and bartenders were great and could handle a crowd with ease. Drinks were tasty and we never had to wait very long. The only problem we encountered was the women's locker room had no air conditioning. The bride and bridesmaids were very hot getting dressed. They had set fans up but it did not do much to help. The food was very good and served efficiently.

The condition of the course is outstanding. One of the best golf courses in Southern Wisconsin. This is a links style golf course - lots of tall grass (fescue) and undulating surfaces. You can be in the middle of the fairway and not get a flat lie. Large, fast greens add to the challenge. Designed by Andy North. PVTPile, I disagree with your review. One thing Bergamont is not is boring. I've played this course many times and I've never been bored. The windy conditions further enhance the links-style experience. Go to Scotland, England or Ireland and you will see what I mean. They don't have trees on their golf courses either. The Legend at Bergamont is a well-designed, challenging golf course and you won't be disappointed.

Boring course unless you like hitting out of tall grass (links), which is really the only obstacle. They need to add trees for two reasons; interest level & to slow down the wind that howls over the course as it sits atop a hill. A little overpriced for what you get.
