What a fabulous museum ! Take a ride on an old and reconditioned trolley. This museum contains one of the famous and one of a kind type of high speed rail car that averaged 80 plus mph dubbed "The Bullet Car" . These cars ran on the P&W (Philadelphia and Western) old Red Arrow Lines rail system for Philadelphia Suburban Transit. Once dubbed the fastest rail transit in the United States. Also within this museum is the famed Liberty Liner (Independence Hall) that ran on the same line. There are many brightly colored trolley cars with old style wicker seating and clear Edison style lighting with antique advertising displayed on its interior. There. Is a charge of $10. For admittance and it entitles you to unlimited rides. Located in a rural setting in Rockhill Furnace, Pennsylvania. Less than a 1/4 mile off of Route 22. Unfortunately this museum is only open on weekends. For more information visit Www.rockhilltrolley.org

If you are fascinated with the way public trolley/mass transportation used to be years ago, this is the place to go. On the weekend that I visited, there were 2 trolleys that were running (an open car and an enclosed car), along with a track sweeper. I especially liked the guided tour of the storage sheds where both operational, and non operational trolleys are stored. Our tour guide provided a wealth of information on each piece of equipment that was in the barns. A real treat for me was riding the York trolley since I am from the York, PA area. It was quite an experience knowing this trolley once operated on the streets of York.

I have visited many Trolley Museums across the States but this ranks as one of the best, in term of value for money and friendliness of the staff. I was met on arrival by Valerie with a cheery smile and as much information as I could take. Then on to the ride and at the far end of the line a brief excursion on the Sweeper (a unique experience). Back to the depot for an informative tour of the Trolley Barn followed by a stroll round the gift shop. I could have had more rides and a visit to their other Barn but time beat me, so allow yourself plenty of time to enjoy all the delights.

Needed something to do on a Sunday afternoon. Found this and went and had a great time. You can ride all day for one price. They have all sorts of different trolleys to ride. Unique and interesting. Staff very knowledgeable.

Seeing restored trolleys is great fun, and riding behind them is even more fun. Definitely worth doing in conjunction with a visit to/ride aboard the East Broad Top

I visited right after my trip on the East Broad Top Railroad. Although they were closed there was work going on preparing for the weekend. One of volunteers Joel showed me around and I was given a ride on the old electric sweeper. If you are railroad and /or trolley fan it is worth the visit. Lovely friendly people and beautiful country.

My husband and I live just minutes away from this attraction, however, visiting grandchildren was the reason we selected this place. The website gave us all the info we needed. The volunteer staff was very friendly and knowledgeable. The weather was pretty hot the day we visited but there were plenty of shaded areas along with a wonderful gift shop/museum store. There is even a snack bar!! The trolley we picked to ride on was an open air one that was simply beautiful with a wonderful history, however, I'm sure the other trolleys were just as nice. My husband tells me that the bathroom was very clean. There were lots of photo ops for this trip which make it very nice in my book!!!
