Nice chance to see the gravesites for the Wilder's and their daughter. Many other poignant gravesites of children and babies who died near the turn of the century as well, reminding you of the realities of life 100 years ago.

we stopped by the cemetery to pay our respects. well managed. The graves were easy to find. Staff at the Wilder home gave us directions. Easy to locate.

The cemetery is just a short distance into town from Laura Ingalls Wilder's Home and Museum. There is a map on the back of your tickets if you stop by the museum first. Once you arrive at the small town cemetery, there are nice, clearly marked signs to show you to Laura Wilder's grave. Her husband and daughter are also buried beside her. There is a row of shrubs that somewhat set those graves apart from the others. Worth the trip to see it if you've already made the journey to Mansfield, MO.

We were flying blind when we came into Mansfield looking for the Laura Ingalls Wilder home and ended up driving by this little cemetery on the hill. After we finished our tour of the house and museum, we decided to go back to the cemetery and find their graves. Seemed like the right thing to do to show our respect for the lives these people lived. We looked up the grave on "findagrave.com" so we knew exactly what size, color, and shape the marker was. We parked under the tree and walked to the gravesite of Laura, her husband, and daughter.

Well taken care of and peaceful. It's easy to find the grave sites as well as the cemetery. A part of Laura lore.

Interesting to see the graves of the Laura and her family. Definitely worth it while there. I wouldn't take young children there.

A relatively small, historic cemetery. The LIW graves are well signed but are easy to recognizing by the way they standout, even if you remain in your car and just drive through for a quick look. Very well maintained and easy to find - very near downtown Mansfield.

You'll see lots of new and old headstones at the Mansfield Cemetery. Follow the signs on the corners if you want to go directly to the Laura Ingalls Wilder grave.

It is hard to rate a cemetery but this definitely worth a visit if you are a Laura Ingalls Wilder fan. Laura, Almanzo and Rose Wilder's graves are well marked and maintained. I said a little "thank you" to Laura as I stood by her grave for giving me such reading pleasure with her Little House on the Prairie book series.

We spent way too long trying to find this place. Finally someone at the little museum in town told us where it was (on the northwest side of town btw). She said there should be a sign on the main road. Well, yes indeed there was, but it was low and unpainted and we saw it only because she said it was there. The graves themselves were easy to spot in the small cemetery.However. I am so glad we made the effort to get here to see where Laura Ingalls Wilder, her husband Almanzo Wilder and their daughter Rose Wilder Lane are buried. It is a nice final resting place for this most ordinary of couples who became extraordinary due to her writing and stand as a symbol for all the many other men and women who lived with honor the hardships associated with settling this country. I must admit it was a rather emotional experience for me. It is a must see for anyone on a Laura Ingalls tour.

How does one "rate" a cemetery? It nice to see where Laura and Alamanzo rest; too bad they aren't with the rest of her family in DeSmet, SD. It's easy to get to and should be part of anyone's Laura visit.

It was very well marked where to see the Wilder Plots and easy access.

small cemetery in Mansfield, right near the centre of town. Well kept, lots of flowers on the graves. The graves of Laura and Almanzo Wilder and their daughter Rose are well marked and the headstones are in good condition and readable. Visiting the cemetery only takes a few minutes and completes your Little House tour. Significant to fans, not much to see for anyone else.
