big oaks golf club

I purchased a family membership in March 2014 and can't believe i waited this long. Interesting course layout with plenty of sand and water - that rewards risk taking. Great people and members - if you want a snooty country club for social networking, this isn't it. But, if you want to have fun in regular tourneys with nice people, then join. Total cost is not more than taking my kids golfing twice a month.

This course was located less than a mile from the Fairfield Inn across from the mall. They have a super friendly staff that is willing to help and very welcoming. I played this morning after going to the course yesterday and discovering that it was closed for maintainence. They aerated the greens and cut back some trees. They cut the price as a result and I enjoyed a very nice round of golf considering the conditions of course right after the greens have been worked on. Overall, this course was an easy one. Have to admit, driving up to it I thought it was gonna be hard but it was mostly a push over- even for a hacker like me. If I make it back here, I will be sure to play this course again.
