A little bit of everything! Fabric was very reasonably priced. they have a little bit of everything from fabric, to yarn to ribbon etc. I'll make it a habit to stop on my way to Charlotte from now on! Very friendly and helpful young lady there also.

We found this place on the way done to charolett NC. We were coming down for the quilt show. Happened on a Pamphlet at the visitor center and decided to stop. Fabric was well priced. We paid at least half the price as we would have at home. Staff there was friendly and helpful. Will definitely stop again.

I have been going to Fancy Gap Pottery off and on for years because I live in the area. Recently the prices have went up, I have realized the past couple of visits. I was shopping today with my daughter and husband. The owner was just standing and he did not ask if we needed help. He only rudely said we close in 2 minutes. I was looking for something I had planned on purchasing and actually forgot to pick up one thing cause I was looking for something to go with it. After he said they closed in two minutes rudely I forgot. I was very upset. I have never been treated like that in a place of business. The only thing an owner should worry about is sales and making customers happy. He wasn't worried about what I was spending. After this experience I would not recommend shopping there.

I often travel the I-77 corridor through Fancy Gap, Va. The scenery from the section from Fancy Gap to the state line at North Carolina is worth the trip alone. I almost always stop off at the Fancy Gap Pottery and Fabric Outlet. They have two sections of the outlet, one for fabric, notions, trims, etc. and the other for pottery, home decor, candles and Christmas items.If you like to sew, they have great bargains on fabric, notions, trims, zippers and everything you might want for your sewing projects. They also sell some craft supplies, paints, brushes, scrap booking supplies as well as a whole wall of various craft and sewing items. Prices are well below the usual retail shops.The pottery shop has a great selection of pottery. I bought my daughter a lovely ceramic bird bath for only $20! They have a huge supply of silk flowers, ribbons and wedding supplies, worth the trip if you are doing a wedding. Nice primitive decor items, wall hangings, signs, artwork and a good selection of candles. Everything is at greatly discounted prices.
