My family and I found Jenny Lake to be beautiful. However, since Jenny Lake is a tourist heavy destination it was packed! There are trails going around the entire lake and they are great hiking trails! If you don't want to hike to get to the other side of the lake to see the large water fall you can take a boat ride across the lake and then back to the other side. You can also rent canoes and kayaks and go across the lake this way also. This place was gorgeous I would go back in a heartbeat!

Jenny Lake is a beautiful place. Take the boat ride. A young bear was digging grubs right by the parking lot.

The Jenny lake was mostly frozen when we went in May, with snow covered mountain. Nice location to have some fun.

Our time was limited so we just walked to the lake and around the banks. The wildflowers and views were appealing, but to get the full picture you should make time for a boat trip on the lake.

I like everything about it but have some misgivings as to it's degree of commercialization. Some of the best hiking in the world and a great place to practice cross country skiing. Gazing up toward the Tetons helps to make it perfect.

This is such a gorgeous area with much to do in the great outdoors. On my last trip to Jenny Lake, we rented a small power boat to get out and explore the lake and I would highly recommend a boat if the weather is decent. It was great to get out and explore more of the lake and surrounding wilderness from the water. I want to say the boat rental was just over $100 for a couple hours and was definitely worth it. Oh yeah, and try to catch a sunset here!

A beautiful area in Grand Tetons; not too crowded, gorgeous landscape and good hiking trails. Park staff can provide good recommendations, too.

We arrived too late to take the boat across - but wandered and explored for a little while. The lake is beautiful, and this was the original ranger station- when we were there, there were renovations being done. Will definitely make Jenny Lake a priority visit next trip out!

Can't beat the Grand Tetons! The hike is great for families with small children. It can be done in a couple of hours, then you can drive back to Jackson Hole for lunch.

I had limited time to spare here but it was still a lovely spot to be able to stretch my legs. The facilities were more than adequate too. I did one of the shorter walks but it looked as though there were quite a variety of options if wishing to extend.

We went there in mid October, so it was not crowded at all. However this also means there are few services, and most of the park HQ and information buildings are closed. Unbelievable views abound. It seems that every time you get a different angled view of the Tetons above this and many other lakes in the area, you feel like you're looking at something completely different. A must see if you're in the area.
