Amazing time! We had so much fun and it was definitely a hit. Andrew and the staff there all were amazing and attentive. It was a pleasure since the weather wasn't cooperating in the beginning but they came together to make it perfect!!! The place is great we had ages from infants to 7 year old and they all had a BLAST! We personally can't wait to go back we have so much more to explore. Definitely recommend going back during an event.

I brought the children I babysit, aged 3 and 4 years, to the Camden Children's Garden, and they had a blast! It started off in the building where you buy your tickets, which has a playroom in it. I had to convince the 3-year-old to leave the train set that they have to go see all the things that are outside! There are a lot of things to climb on, for instance giant ants, a small rock wall, and a giant Jack and the Beanstalk chair. There is a section dedicated to fairy tales, including an area where you can help the Three Little Pigs build their houses, and that was a hit. There also was a young woman who stood outside and worked on games and crafts with the kids. They enjoyed that a lot. We also spent quite a lot of time in a small building set up as a combination pretend farm, grocery store, and kitchen. There is a small train ride, which is a fun stop, although the man operating it seemed to wish he was somewhere else. Although it's not a big place, there was so much for them to do and they enjoyed all of it. When I ask what they want to do on a particular day, this is one of their first suggestions!

I stopped at Camdens children Garden with my 3 children, ages 5, 4 and 2 after 2 hours in the car. It provided a much needed break for the kids and was inexpensive. The staff went above and beyond what they needed to do by giving my children a guided tour of all the flowers and vegetation they grow as well as a tour of the butterfly exhibit. We stayed for about an hour and a half there to play and then gave the kids lunch in the picnic area. It is not a big place or an all day activity. It was the perfect place to go for an hour and a half to provide a break from driving for us and our kids.

We took my 2.5 year daughter here for a couple of hours on Saturday. This is not a 'big' attraction with lots of amusement rides. It is a garden, with plenty of interactive and imaginative exhibits that encourage kids to think about plants and gardening. My daughter loved the 3 little pig homes and the over sized tea cups. She played in the treehouse and loved the free crafts that were going on. The butterfly garden gave her a chance to get up close and hold a live butterfly (well.. have one crawl on her). Rides have an extra $2 charge, but the little train ride and carousel made her day. Everyone was friendly, the price of admission was just right and we had a great time exploring the garden. There were very few concession options in the garden itself, but vendors outside. I would bring snacks and drinks along :)

Wow--we were really impressed with our visit to the children's garden. From the moment we stepped through the door the staff were engaged, helpful and informative. The garden had multiple area with activities, rides, and interactive scenes to spark the imagination. They allow you to bring in outside food and provide a sweet lunch area. It's obvious that this is a work in progress but it's clear that the staff care and are invested!!! I wish we lived closer to we could see all the great things this garden will do.

If this place were in Philly, it would be mobbed ALL THE TIME in the summer. A family membership is pretty inexpensive (about the price of 2 visits for a family of 4), and for us it works really well as a place you go to a few times a summer to spend a pleasant afternoon (particularly on Saturdays during the summer when they have special events). My kids (now 8 &9) love the little splash pad area & the butterfly house, and can entertain themselves endlessly running around the maze area. I really enjoy the garden aspect - especially beautiful at dusk (sometimes it's open later for special events)! You kind of have to pack a lunch though or plan to get lunch elsewhere - the gift shop has some snacks & drinks, and you can buy ice cream, but food concessions are limited.

My family and I went to the Garden this past Fall to try things out again after we had a not so pleasant experience the season before. What a big turn-around from our last visit, the staff was very friendly and accommodating from the minute we arrived. There still needs some work to be done, but it was a lot cleaner and brighter than before. Seeing that changes had been made we were told that new upgrades were being considered, I want to support the garden and want it to succeed in its mission. Really looking forward to visiting again in the Spring and seeing some needed changes. We all need to support this island of peace and joy.

This is a cute place but not a lot to do. Our two three year olds loved the train ride (pay an extra $2 for each ride) and the carousel (also extra $2). There was a short maze with large pipes to walk through and a couple of short slides that are appropriate for tots. The large teapots can be climbed in, but the kids weren't too thrilled with that. There is also a dinosaur statue that was rather ho hum. The attendant at the butterfly house was knowledgeable and friendly. Overall a relaxed place that can be seen in an hour.

The Adventure Aquarium's poorer sibling because they receive little sponsorship. They do great things in the community and the attractions here are good, but could be so much better with increased funding. My son loved the train ride.

Thank you for your feedback. We always appreciate hearing from our customers. Here at the Garden we struggle to keep admission affordable and accessible to the citizens of Camden. We are constantly looking for sponsors and funding to help with our costs. This past season we have made several upgrades and we are aware of others that will be addressed as further funding allows. We hope that you still consider the garden a nice spot to visit with your family and understand the struggle that we face.

Thank you for your kind words! We hope that we will see you again soon.

One probably just really needs young enough kids to enjoy this nice place fully. Camden Children's Garden has indoor and outdoor attractions. Will have to come back for the festival of lights in December to give this place a second chance.

Today we went to breakfast with Santa. Started at 11am, we were rushed to eat breakfast. The cook had no hair net on and looked like a alchololic. Santa was nice however the staff said basically hurry up an eat and leave. It was 10.00 per person and wasn't even worth it. The food was cold too... What a disappointment... If you want to have breakfast with Santa please never go there... It was like a soup kitchen...
