Ladies can golf this course cake walk! Even for beginners but, you need to know how to drive the ball.

Took my two nephews (8 & 10) out to watch my son play a high school meet. Bought a couple of buckets of balls for the driving range. They only had two old clubs in the car. The clubs were old and one broke. Ask the older boy to ask the club pro in the pro shop for a club to finish the buckets and go watch my son. The nephew came back and said the pro didn't have any clubs. So i went up to the pro shop and asked the pro if he just told my nephew he had no clubs and the guy said "That's right I have no clubs." It was about 45º out and windy so it wasn't as if the pro was dealing with customers.So next time you think about how the golf business is crying about not being able to grow the game, think of the Links at North Fork. They apparently have too many young players to bother with one more. Seriously!

Fun layout, especially when the wind is blowing. I was there right after they punched the greens so they were rolling a little bumpy - but the rest of it was in good shape

The course is links style. Takes some precision to shoot par. The clubhouse and staff are all very nice and look out for your needs. The course was a 5 hour round which was long, but we all were given 50% our 1st drink which was tasty! The food was very good and priced right. I would play this course again but would recommend people look for discounted green fees. Overall a very good facility and worth a try.
