We had such an enjoyable time there. It was fun to see all of the treasures from the past. The docents are very knowledgeable, you can ask them anything and they are very helpful.

I like museums like this but it is not every person's cup of tea. Volunteer women from the community manage the museum and serve as docents. Normal collection of artifacts from the 19th century. Well-maintained and well-labeled, especially historical photographs which cover the walls in each room. Docents are full of information and give a good overview.

The rooms are laid out very well and they have a book if you are looking for an item - say a quilt. If you are looking for someone's name, do a computer search before hand to find the room and item number.

They really have some excellent artefacts, but i feel like someone needs to help the museum itself look more organized and not like some relic of the past.

This museum is well worth an hour of your time, and depending on who the docents are the day you arrive, you can experience 2 hours flying by as though they were one. If pioneer heritage is an interest for you then you'll find it all here in rooms reminiscent of a turn of the century home, however this building was originally built to house the DUP's collection. Many of the artifacts are accompanied by little descriptive cards, but if you'd rather not read, the docents will happily explain everything.

Wow did they have a lot of really interesting things packed in to this house. Fun to listen to the tour ladies and how their grandmothers had some of the items they were displaying. Loved how they had informative cards throughout telling details of the displays.

If you're interested in history, stop at this museum. The gal that showed us around was very informative and she made everything very interesting.

Neat little place to step out of the heat and learn a little history of the area. TONS of photographs/portraits of the early settlers spread acrtoss several rooms. It was amazing that they have so many! Many artifacts. The docents were very nice and informative. I'm not Mormon but it was neat to hear a little history of how they went on the Cotton Mission to help with the Civil War and how they built some of the tabernacles/temple in the area. Nice little step back in history.

This was a fantastic museum. There are several rooms of memorabilia. The DUP ladies were very well informed and friendly. They were happy to answer any questions that we had and pointed out many interesting facts. You could spend an hour there or several hours really reading and looking at all the interesting items on display. I can't wait to go back and see it again.

This museum has and amazing display of pioneer history. Many pictures of the pioneers that occupied the area - I even found a couple of relatives... the ladies that were the guides were very informative and friendly. I would recommend this to anyone who like to see a little bit of history.

Please go visit this lovely little museum in downtown St. George. We were actually looking for the visitor's center and stumbled upon this place. The retiree ladies who operate the museum are soo sweet! There are about five rooms on the main floor chocked full of interesting memorabilia from the mid 1800s - clothing, quilts, farm implements, kitchen tools, things made of human hair - you name it. Plus lots of interesting pictures. After visiting with these ladies, we decided to skip the B. Young Winter home altogether.

This was a building that contained mostly records and pictures of pioneer families of the St. George area. Staff was very friendly and helpful. If you didn't know lots of folks that made up the history of the city, it didn't have much else to offer.

This is a little museum, but very full of history, artifacts, old photos and snippits of a time long ago. We loved it.

This is a great place to visit. They have put it together very well. I have family on both sides of my parents who came across the plains by handcarts. This was a really neat place for me to visit.
