Well at least its outside and you can walk around with great views. Make sure you get a VIP card for discounts. However the salespeople are very friendly and nice for the most part and there's a lot of walking around. Great sales in January and February. Recommend CABI for women's clothes. Try eating in downtown Castle Rock-much better selections.
It takes about 45 minutes from Denver Downtown to Castle Rock Outlets. The place is spacious with most of the famous brands usually present in american outlets. There are no Ecko, Crocs stores, for example. Overall, there's a nice variety of stores and products. The food court is small, with few options. As far as I know, it's the best shopping option If your're based in Denver.
Went to the outlet mall at castle rock. It is really big with a huge selection of stores. Some stores ran some really good deals. Other stores didn't really have outlet prices but a good selection of clothing. The best deal was getting a VIP card from the food court where you could get a discount in a lot of the stores. We got a lot of items for a very reasonable price. Some stores were running much better sales than other places. Didn't bother eating at the food court. All the bathrooms were very clean as well.
I have been here several times, and usually find what I am looking for and then some! There are great shopping opportunities for many items, clothing, shoes, kitchen wares & candy. The Food Court does lack food choices. We usually go eat somewhere else.
Extensive range of shops, nearly nothing they don't have. You can spend a full day here and quite possibly not hit every store unless you're in a hurry. Was glad to see a Harry & David's out here... not many left by us in Southern California. If you're staying in Denver it's a bit of a drive South on I-25 but worth it.
Maybe we hit the correct day but we found many bargains and was a good selection of stores for us. One of the better Outlet malls we have been to throughout the U.S. as related to the brands and prices we shop for.Bathrooms were extremely clean and well kept for a mall.
Visiting outlets are my favorite hobby, so I have been to many of them from coast to coast. We visited on Friday, August 8th and we couldn't believe the deals that we were able to find in the Columbia Outlet for my son, the quick-dry, long sleeves were a great price and my husband had a fun time finding new finds in the Coleman store. The gentlemen in the Coleman store were very knowledgeable and my husband came away with some new toys. I, on the other hand, did not find anything, but I have not found anything at the other outlets either. Some times you come home with deals, sometimes you don't. But I must say that the Outlet at Castle Rock is one of my favorite outlet.
The outlet concept ran itself ragged long ago. Most people who go to these places anymore realize that most of the prices are the same as or very similar to what they can find in malls, and generally higher than what they can find online or even (with luck) at discount stores like Target or warehouse stores like Costco. Having said that, I did find a few deals at Castle Rock, but only on stuff that was touted as being on sale - the minority of products in any given store. If you're going here to find "outlet prices" of the 1980s, you'll be mostly disappointed.
The outlet mainstays are still here....Ralph Lauren, Nike, Adidas, Puma, perfume stores, etc....but the concept appears to be running out of steam. At least 30% of the storefronts were empty. Crowd was small for a Saturday in the middle of the summer. Outlet bargains were few and far between. Save time and money and shop closer to home.
I love to shop and visit outlets all over the country. Unfortunately, this one does not cut it and leaves much to be desired. Here are the reasons to skip this place:Outlet Mall without outlet prices- Almost every store I went in had little to no merchandise marked down. Nike had 2 racks in the entire store that were "on sale" and only at a 20% discount, rest of the store was regular price. Biggest discounts I found were 30% off and it was on stuff that no one would want to buy. If I am driving out of my way to an outlet mall I want steep discounted pricing. You can easily get 30% + off at a regular mall on this seasons merchandise. They have several stores like H&M that are not outlet stores. It seems like they can't decide what this place is- an outlet or a mall with old merchandise at regular prices.Layout- I do not like the layout of this place. Lots of walking in the sun and back and forth to get from one store to the next. We got in our car to get from one store to another because it was that far.Poor selection and variety of stores- Many of the spaces in this "outlet" mall are empty and vacant. After visiting now I know why. The few stores they do have are full of old ugly merchandise. Many other stores like Caphalon are not exactly at the top of my must shop at list. We bought absolutely nothing on our visit and when I leave a mall empty handed you know it's bad. I would skip this place all together and try a different outlet mall instead. It is not worth the 40 minute drive from Denver!!!
My wife is an Outlet Shopping machine. She has shopped at outlets in about seven states and rates this one among the best. They have everything you could want from tennis shoes to Brooks Brothers. You could spend a couple of days here. My only complaint is they don't have bookstore.
The Outlets in Castle Rock is a shoppers heaven. There are so many stores to choose from, and plenty of seating outside. Clean, easy access and plenty of parking.
We enjoy shopping here because the area is so nice and the shops are all very nice, clean and well maintained. We love going here at Christmas time because Santa has his own little cabin where the kids can visit and take pictures. We also love the Stride Rite for shoes for all of the kids!!
Loved this place! We didn't have much time to shop so we peaked in our favorite stores and walked around to see what all was there. We LOVED it and will be planning a trip to spend the day shopping...YIPPEE!!!
Over the past few years the economy is getting much better which is allowing more and more new shops to open in the OutletsThere are so many new stores with great sales and deals going on every weekendI highly recommend the Outlets just because you can always find great deals.Just warning on major holiday weekends the parking lot is crazy and stores are always crazy crowded
