verboten brewing

A small craft brewery offering a very unique twist on styles of beers. Their efforts are largely concentrated on variations of the porter and stout styles surely pleasing the dark beer connoisseurs. Recommend you order 1 to 2 flight samples thus enabling you to sample their full line of offerings. My 2 favorites of the night were Killer Boots-a year round caramel porter and the Choice City Butcher 11th Anniversary Imperial IPA - seasonal. Not all beer varieties I sampled I enjoyed and that I expected. That being said, I find this brewery devoted to producing a high quality ale.

This one of several Micro Brew Houses in the Loveland area and the beer does not disappoint. There are several beers to satisfy any taste and there are new beers being brewed all the time. The staff is friendly and very helpful. If you want to relax, enjoy a beer in a nice atmosphere this is the place to visit.

Their size and willingness to take risks make this brewery unique. Brewing small gives them flexibility to try interesting and brave beers. I've had most of their brews. All good, some great. If you're looking for the standard "malt, yeast, water, hops" you're at the wrong place. Orange, coriander, cocoa, sated caramel, lemongrass, and sea salt make regular appearances throughout the tap lineup. Staff was friendly and helpful. Having the brew equipment in full view of the taproom is always appealing to me. One of my new favorites!

Not sure about Trebuddha's review, seems like character assault & ratings loading from a competitor to comment so negatively and so broadly.Wife and I stopped here the week after these Forbidden brews won two - Count 'em, two -- medals at THE World Beer Cup in Denver. Go there, see for yourself. We WILL return -- nuff said!

I love this place. They have great beers and the owners/brewer are wonderful people. The atmosphere and staff are very welcoming. The creativity of their brews is fantastic. I highly recommend this place!
