This modest county park provides options for small boats and fishing, with a campground along the shore that is currently under renovation. Note that the reservoir is the tailwater from an upstream hydroelectric plant, so water levels can fluctuate. Adjacent is the Ramsay-Shockey Open Space that provides additional room for hiking. Overall there are about 5 miles of easy trails around the lake and on a hill overlooking it. It is a nice place to stretch your legs in a foothill setting not too far from town.
