I am not a Pueblo native and usually don't have a lot of good things to say @ times about Pueblo places to frequent, but this IS A MUST SEE. It is beautiful, relaxing and so enjoyable to just sit back, relax, cool off, feed the ducks, get something to eat. You really cannot go wrong with visiting here, You can rent the old time paddle boats, (I loved it) they also have a small river boat that you can ride around the river walk and I believe they give history about the area in the tour around the river walk. Restaurants available from the top or from below. Great restaurants to choose from. Don't miss going to see. Well worth your time and relaxation. Also when it is so hot and miserable kids from 1 to 101 can play in the water fountains and the kids love it. I enjoy it. Everyone enjoys it. It is a nice and safe place to walk around and look at all sorts of things. I really can't say enough good things about it. it's a place you really want to take time out and visit. ENJOY.,,,,, RELAX......... IT IS A MUST SEE AND GO

Lived in South East Colorado for two years and work in Pueblo all the time and finally visited the River Walk, would have never thought that someplace that cool and that pretty existed in this city.

My husband and I often go to the riverwalk for an evening stroll. It is nicely paved, there are no streets to cross, and there are plenty of opportunities for people-watching. The fact that our favorite sushi place is on the riverwalk is a bonus also.

The Pueblo River Walk and Historic area are unique in that they offer a break from the everyday pace. I find myself able to relax and enjoy reading a good book or moseying around the area feeling like a tourist in a place I've lived since 1992. I appreciate the friendly attitude and diversity of the people I encounter, who are never to busy to say hello or smile and acknowledge a stranger. It is so pleasing to be in a fairly populated area with a friendly small town feel. I am reminded, when friends and family visit, that I take for granted what Pueblo in general, but especially what the River Walk and Historic area of Pueblo have to offer. From the River Walk to the Veterans Bridge, The "Home of Heroes" Medal of Honor statues, The Pro Bull Riders, the coffee shops to the Union Depot, and then some. Wow...!!! See what I mean? What a nice area to feel like an, "Out of Towner", in the place I live. I won't give a 5th tab because the shops are usually closed on Sunday, when people are out and they should be open.

Listen folks, the city of Pueblo has done a wonderful job in developing this beautiful, relaxing and enjoyable River Walk, which is a venue for many local food and musical activities. No, not on the order of San Antonio, but perhaps better, because it does not have the crowds, noise, trash and solicitors trying to rush you into their facility. Excellent restaurant located nearby which provide menus to meet any palate (or age). Give it a try and I believe you will be surprised at what is available to you at the Historic Arkansas River Walk of Pueblo.

There are a number of events that take place here each year but even if you are not here for any certain event there is plenty to do any time of the year. There are paddle boats in the shape of different animals that everyone can enjoy. Another boat will do the work for you and take you on a mini tour of the area. Even someone in a wheel chair or scooter chair can easily gain access to the walk and general area. There are restaurants, shops, historical place markers on buildings and at the end of town the historical train depot. This isn't actually on the river walk but is within walking distance. A parking garage is close by to the river walk and parking has never been an issue unless there is a massive event of some kind. My favorite part about living in Colorado is that even in the dead of summer the evenings cool off. Pueblo just doesn't have that horrible humidity most places have to deal with. Winters are generally pretty mild around here too. At the lower elevations snowfall rarely last more than a day after it falls. Winter time visits to the area should never cause anyone to second guess themselves. Our weather won't keep you from going on your way when you decide to leave. Pueblo is easy to get where you are going without traffic jams or bottle necks. Hotels are located nearby the river walk too, some are within walking distance. I have left by myself to spend the day at the river walk, actually the stores nearby but it isn't hard to find something to do for the day. I have been to the river walk at all times of the year, always something to do. Pets are welcome too.

A concrete walk in the hot sun. Pueblo had the opportunity to make this place memorable - but didn't. Most merchants are closed weekends. I don't understand it. I never go back. Pueblo needs to add things that are vibrant to attract tourism.

Great place for family to go and relax. We go here often for picnics and to walk for exercise. Great during the summer with the water fountains.

Begin at the restored historic Pueblo train depot. It's open & free and you can do a self-guided tour of this incredible architectural feat. Parking is free. Then, take a leisurely walk down picturesque Union Ave with its wonderful shops of unique items, bakeries, ice cream & gelato shops and art galleries. At the end of a lovely 3 block walk...the icing on the cake: the Riverwalk. Lush scenery, water with gondolas & boats, restaurants where you can eat outside in comfort both winter & summer next to the sound of moving water. A perfect place to walk for exercise or relaxation. The Riverwalk, the Pueblo depot and historic Union Ave is a fun destination stop for a memorable day.

Pueblo has put it's best foot forward with this community investment. Good walk, good restaurants and a bit of Pueblo history...

I took the "volksmarch", a five mile walk starting near the Riverwalk. You walk all around the Riverwalk and around some interesting neighborhoods of Pueblo. There is a variety of restaurants nearby.

Beautiful area to people watch, eat, exercise and shop. The gondolas bobbing through the water add their own unique flavor, many of the old brick buildings have murals painted on them, beautiful statues adorn the riverwalk and occasionally you will see a pretty girl, singing a sad song on her guitar.

it is a very relaxing place to watch people while you eat your lunch and or do your daily jog, Located in the heart of Pueblo, a place where alot of events are held through out the year. You will have to experience it for yourself, I really enjoy just going down during the summer and visiting the restraunts along the way,

It's cute. There are some shops and restaurants. Hey, it's not San Antonio, but it's worth a walk if your in Pueblo.
