这是离法拉盛很近而且交通又很方便的去处,每周都要从曼哈顿来一次,价格很不错,办会员卡还有折扣,很划算,每次来都有空地,周么时人多点,但也有地方,推荐。尤其对面的自助很不错!

I have been here twice. On Northern Blvd, it is easy to find, and the parking lot is spacious. The first time my son and I went there after we dined at Mizumi, a Japanese buffet restaurant, across the street. We played mini-golf ($5 for kids and $6.5 for adults) and then learned how to hit the ball, whose price was rather reasonable. Today we went there for a special event catering to Chinese. It was said that the Korean owner wanted to attract more Chinese. They provided free lesson and even free drinks and Korean snacks. Many people showed up. One Taiwanese professional golfer taught the basics. It was a good overview. We then learned how to putt and how to hit. My entire family had found it very helpful and enjoyable. We were told that this place would be under renovation for about half a year. We will return.

I love the walking path here. It's a great park with great wooded trails in the middle of Queens. It's usually not crowded, especially if you opt to walk the wooded trails. The BBQ/picnic areas get crowded and are taken early.

Great place to spend time with family and have BBQ or just to spend the day relaxing enjoying family time

I went there on Saturday, June 22. The center itself was not as good as some comments described. It was rather small and not particularly educational. But the nearby trail was a pleasant surprise. The not-very-long boardwalk in the marsh struck me as beautiful and even romantic. We saw several canoes pass by. The reefs, bushes and trees brought coolness to the summer day. Definitely I would be back and visited other parts of the park.

The center provides an intimate look as some caged reptiles and snakes. It is small but fun for the little ones. There is a small gift shop and birthday parties can be booked here. We enjoy taking walks through the woodsy grounds and "discovering" signs of nature surprisingly close to the Cross Island Parkway. Do wear old footwear though as the mud can be serious. The center is a pleasant diversion for kids but is not big enough to be considered a "trip".

About a hundred years ago, the City of New York had the foresight to protect 600 or so acres of land from being developed. Now, it is a recreational mecca for cityfolks (ok, mostly eastern Queens residents) seeking refuge from the concrete jungle. It is not easily accessible with mass transit (bus transfer from subway required), but that keeps it from getting overcrowded like the more well-known Central Park in Manhattan. It is very family-oriented with tennis courts, handball courts, well maintained soccer and baseball/softball fields, playgrounds, hiking, biking and jogging trials (connecting to Cunningham Park via Vanderbilt Motorway -no cars allowed), an adventure course (summer weekends at no or low cost), nature center, Urban Rangers' camping, picnic and bbq areas. Great for bird watching, too. From the crack of dawn on, folks can be found walking their dogs, meeting up with friends and strolling the paths under the shades of oak and beech trees, practicing tai chi, jogging, biking etc. One can even explore some unpaved hiking trails, wind around marshes and kettle ponds within and briefly forget about being in the city. It's a big sprawl, and it hosts a lot of club, church, association gatherings on summer weekends. A petting zoo rolls around once a year, and the Alley Pond Striders host a 5 mile race through a challenging hilly course in the spring. There's something for everyone here to enjoy.

This is a lovely park for walking, jogging, walking the dog, playing on the grass, or just sitting. Picnic areas.

One of the most interesting exciting and productive learning experiences for children. The classes are all about nature and are so fun your children have no idea they are learning about animals preservation and respect for the environment.. My nephews are members and can't wait for the special classes although the exhibits and the beautiful new trails are all free. I true slice of heaven in queens.

The Center was there for the community after Hurricane Sandy. They even invited people to charge their phones there and come in for a cup of coffee. What a group of thoughtful winners. I have been taking my kids there for parties and classes for almost 5 years.

Alley Pond is home to a long stretch of the old Vanderbilt Motor Parkway. Know as the Path, it is a great place to walk run or bike ride. The Path has mileage markers and is cool in the summer with a canopy of trees offering shade. It is home to the Alley Pond Striders, a local rrunning and waliking club. There are tennis courts with a bubble in winter. Softball, baseball, and a soccer fields round out athletic choices. Bird watchers walk many of the wooded paths, and there are two playgrounds with swings, handball courts and monkey bars. There is alsoo a nice picnic area and several parking lots.

My children and I always enjoy going to Alley center. There are many things to do there in this educational and relaxed center. Not only can you interact with unusual animals but, you can see and experience a swamp enviorment. I think this is very important for my children so they will develop an interest and respect for the enviorment. The staff that works here are wonderful and very knowledgable. I highly recommend this center for family trips

Used to bring my kids here for birthday parties when they were younger. a great place for a nature themed party including live animals and a guided mini hike. Now I go just for the longer trail and a chance to get some green here in Queens.

I often go to the Center for a long, quiet walk along their trails. Always, it is a refreshing way to spend some time, thinking, walking, observing and enjoying. The Center is a great educational experience, one that involves you in ways you did not anticipate. Additionally, there are amazing trees, flora and fauna to be found there. All in all, an oasis in the middle of Queens.
