Hiking to Indian Head is a bit more strenuous than Overlook, and without the amazing payoff at the end. The hike itself up, however, is beautiful. You are completely isolated in a pine forest, and the smell is amazing. But after bouldering up 3500 feet, the view is pretty, but not quite the jaw drop of Overlook or Huckleberry. Once you reach the top, you are tempted to either turn left and do the ".4 mile to the top of Indian Head." Beware- it is not .4 miles, and the overlook once you do reach it, is not even worth it. Stay at the junction and see that overlook. If you go right- to the the top of Twin- its a hike in itself, but those views are worth it.
