jExcellent entertainment, great dining. Exciting racing, and when the racing is over you can spend what you won at the casino, just a short walk away.

Food looked like it was sitting for a while, not a ton to choose from, but manager overheard me and offered to make fresh food for me, and pizza was pretty darn good for the raceway!

We attended this special event at the Raceway in connection with the Hamburg Chamber of Commerce and had a very nice evening. The Raceway is on the grounds of the Erie County Fair within walking distance of the Hamburg Casino, also on the Fairgrounds. Harness racing takes place from January to July. Simulcast takes place from Wednesday to Friday. We had the meal provided through the event but there was other food available (In fact, if it is especially hot during the Fair, we come to the air-conditioned restaurant for lunch and have always enjoyed the meal.) The clubhouse, restrooms, and outer areas of the track were clean and well-lit. Admission and parking are free.
