Great aerial view of some magnificent city architecture!Which made for some great pictures. And it's free!
This is well worth a stop. Although the windows weren't all that clean and clear, the views are phenomenal and the countryside is beautiful.
It is great to go to the observation level and look around the whole area, picking out places you normally drive by. Especially nice when the leaves are displaying their fall colors.
We planned to go into the tower. After reading trip advisor reviews, we decided to call to see if it was open. Good thing we did....... The tower elevators were closed for maintenance . We were very disappointed.
You will need to show ID but you cannot do something better in Albany for free. If it is clear you can see a looooog way and there is interesting stuff to see.
If you can get here when the Tower is open go on up for a wonderful panoramic view. Trouble is they are generally not open on the weekends, and you need ID to get in.
Very tall building! Interesting displays in the lobby. They are modern and different. There is an observation deck however it was closed the day we were there. That was a bummer!
Cool, but no entry on weekends great place for picture taking. Right next to the egg, across from museum
The tower was closed every time we went there & had no hours posted on when it was open.. Very disappointed...
This building is connected to the Egg, Convention Center, and State Museum. Check out the Observation Deck. It's free and has a great view of Albany!
At the top of the Corning Tower is a gorgeous view! You can see Albany and all the surrounding areas! Definitely a site, you don't want to miss!
Just another states office building. The Tower is part of the Rockefeller Plaza and is the tallest building. Visit the Plaza and New York State Museum, but the Tower is only worth a glance.
Make sure to visit the Observation Deck on the 40th floor for an incredible view up and down the Hudson River. Noteworthy, especially on clear days. Lunch can be had at a window table on the 29th floor cafe. Call to make sure the deack will be open.
It's a well designed building. But compared to the Egg and the New York State Capitol, it's nothing.
Tall building... views of downtown. Nothing special. If you're in the area it's okay to visit but not worth a special trip
