Cringe-worthy performances delivered by an increasingly nervous bunch of hapless young men & women, clearly intimidated by their fragmented nineteen strong, yet eager audience... & even in this cramped & darkened "corridor" room, that is less than half full. The chirpy young girl serving from the bar sadly had little clue about the eight or so beers available, & the few cocktails we tried were really just a poor imitation. Please also be informed that a compulsory 18% service charge will be added to your bill, with little chance of seeing any of your change by the way.

Fun evening that was reasonably priced for a comedy club. The comics were funny and the food we ordered was tasty

Its a very small venue, but definitely worth it. It was very cheap at 10 bucks a ticket. We actually ordered that night. Its on a very nice street with some great restaurants and a huge parking garage just down the street past the basketball courts for 9 bucks. Comics were very funny and the staff was awesome. Reasonable prices and they even serve food, which comes from the restaurant next door. I would go again and again if I lived nearby!

Got e-mail from them saying they were doing New Year's Eve.Sounded good as a Comedy Club is often our choice for NYE.And being in Queens was a big plus. Shorter, safer trip home. The price was one of the highest of all the clubs in NYC.Kind of odd given that it's in LIC and not Times Square. But we were told that it would be featuring SNL's Cher Oteri (who didn't work cheap) and a $50 bottle of champagne per table.Well, the very first thing Cher said when she got on stage was 'I don't do standup".While it's not written in stone that comedy clubs must be all stand up acts, it's pretty much a given unless it is specified that it will be sketch or Improv.Cheri’s sketch was as boring as can be. I’d have to even say it was just stupid. The “$50 bottle of champagne” was actually a 375ML bottle that retails in the store for $26.Most of the other acts were pretty poor also. This is the saddest part. The people there (owners, managers and workers) are absolutely delightful! You feel good the moment you walk in. They are so friendly.Unfortunately, they also think they’re funny and they perform *there* regularly. To the best of my knowledge, they don’t perform elsewhere. And my guess would be because they wouldn’t get the gig.Carmen Lynch was the final act and she saved the evening. She was very funny. And after the show she spent time with my wife and I and she was as delightful to chat with as she was entertaining on stage. So, a big thanks to her!But otherwise, $250 for a really mediocre show is just not something I can let pass without comment.

I love comedy clubs and have been going regularly for nearly 3 decades. Was very excited to finally have one in Queens again.Laughing Devil is very conveniently located for folks who don't want to travel into the city. It's easy to find parking. The staff was super friendly.Prices for admission, food and drink were all reasonable. Also, "2 item" minimum rather than "2 drink" is always appreciated as my wife doesn't drink. So, they got extra points for that. And the food was good, too!The only problem is that it's an extremely small (narrow) place.Imagine a typical bar that just takes out one table in the back and calls that spot a stage. The problem with small venues is that when there are inexperienced comics or troublesome audience members (drunk folks who want to participate more than they aught) there just isn't enough of a crowd for compensate for the situation. The night I was there, half the comics were awesome! 2 that I've been seeing on the NYC scene for nearly 20 years and 1 that was new to me. The other 3 (including the MC were awful. There were so many awkward silences or chimings in from the aforementioned audience members.I think there will always be a lot of potential for this because of the tiny size of the venue. But as I mentioned, I think the staff were delightful (and I'd guess that owners / managers were amongst them). So, I do wish them much success.Hey, maybe at some point, they will be able to move to a larger space! So, if you are in Queens or Brooklyn, do come check them out.

The area is nice, the place itself is small, but just the right size for everyone to enjoy. The draft selection is great. I'll definitely be back.

Went to the Laughing Devil last night on a whim. I though the long skinny appearance was weird at first but the comics embraced it and it became actually one of my favorite features! This was my first comedy show so I was excited but my boyfriend skeptical since he had been to shows before and been disappointed. However we both came out laughing! Good comics and a nice close environment so good interactions. I will be going again.

We had an excellent time. Great talent, tasty food and more than competent and friendly staff. Everything was as advertised, no surprises. We even found parking close by. I will definitely be going back and would not hesitate to recommend this club to anyone looking for a fun evening.

Better than the City! I love comedy clubs but hate having to take the train to the City. This was my first time at Laughing Devil, I brought a few friends along and we had a great time. We drove in from Brooklyn and had no problem finding the place. Great location and the parking was awesome! We found a spot half a block away. We were late and felt terrible but no one made us feel awkward. We will definitely be going back and I'll recommend it to all my friends. Also I loved that fact that it was a two item minimum as opposed to 2 drinks in other places.

Top notch comics, reasonable prices, don't need to go to Manhattan, and a great cozy space.

I happen to frequent lots of comedy clubs around the greater nyc area and by far the laughing devil has presented some of the greatest talent and biggest names in not only the shortest time, as they are still a relatively new club only opening at the end of last year, but they're fairly priced on both food and admission and even offer classes for those who want to try and improve their jokes from class clown to stand up comic. Queens was missing out on a good location to go and just enjoy yourself freely. If its a sin to laugh so much you fall out of your chair (yeah that was me guys, sorry) then the devil knows how to make it feel so good.

We were visiting Manhattan from Philly for the weekend and took the 7 train out for the late show. Was totally worth it. Great show, good beers, and deep fried oreos. What more can you ask for?

This show was fantastic! We went to 8pm show and it was really good. I suspect that the later show is probably a little more lively as this 8pm crowd seemed to be a little sleepy. Or maybe just not drunk yet! Simply...the show was perfect for a Saturday night for a couple that just wanted to get out the house for a nice dinner and added a fun detour to the mix. We invited another couple to join us and they loved it too! I would sugest it for anyone who just simply loves funny stuff! My only issue was that it truly is, VERY small. Food was pretty acceptable as well. Give it a try!!
