Science meets art. Jared went out of his way to make this tour one of the best we did on our Craft Distillery tour. making a new one of a kind Rum that everybody should try.The Vodka was one of the best i have had EVER. I will be back to try the bourbon when it is ready.See you again soon.

There is never enough space for good crafted bourbons. Kentucky is known for it and Wilderness Trace distillery is poised to take a bite out of the marker with their smooth bourbon blend that will only get better with age.

My boyfriend and I have gone to all of the bourbon trail tours (and several of the craft trail tours) in the last year and a half. This tour has probably been my favorite to date. Our tour guide, Jared, was knowledgeable about the product and process and obviously cared about what he was doing. This tour is also different from the other tours due the distillery being essentially a pet project of the parent company (which offers lab support and technical training to the ethanol industry). It is slightly more technical and detailed - which I enjoyed and appreciated. I'm a chemical engineer and it kept me interested, but it was also at a level that was completely accessable to someone who has no background in science whatsoever.The samples were enjoyable. I'm not a vodka enthusiast but it was easy to drink and had a nice flavor. The rum was very nice. I can't wait to try the bourbon when it comes out.

First time visiting a distillery. The tour was excellent, and our guide was very informative. It's a small, more one-on-one experience. My drink of choice is bourbon, but unfortunately it will be a few years before their bourbon is ready. However, the vodka and rum we were able to taste were wonderful. I would definitely like to return once the bourbon is ready. There is a small fee for tour, but was given a shot glass at the end.
