we piddle around theater

Monica and I attended Alabama’s Official Folklife Play “Come Home, It’s Suppertime” presented by the We Piddle Around Theater in Brundidge last night. Bottom Line – if you ever get the chance to see this play – go see it. It’s based on the life of poor folks in this area during the 20’s-30’s. The play (which was preceded by a fried chicken, baked sweet potato, corn bread etc… dinner) was extremely well done and included some very good vocals, lots of great stories, and an insight into life in this area during the depression era. The We Piddle Around Theater also offers story telling nights (also preceded by a dinner) that are as enjoyable as the play.
