I was looking to sneak one more round of golf in as the winter approaches and most of the courses I usually play have already closed down. Someone my wife works with mentioned the Four Oaks so I checked them out online and then called for a tee time. When we got there we were blown away at how great the course and the facilities looked. The course is layed out across a hill top and gives great views of the Merrimack Valley and out to Lowell. The fairways are not too narrow but accuracy is rewarded here. There are a few places to loose balls to along the way and though there is water you have options to avoid it. The greens were rolling as well and pin placements this day were a bit challenging. We were paired up with a couple of guys who had played the course before and this is a big help first time on the course. The carts are state of the art with GPS in them...helps a lot for distance from pin determination. We did not eat there but the bar & grill looked very nice and we heard good things about the food there.Overall I was very impressed with the course (not so much my play that day)...and am looking forward to getting back there in the spring. Will plan to dine after the round at that time as well. Reasonable greens fees for a well maintained and run golf course. Recommend driving the course vs walking as it is hilly.

Grazie is Italian for 'thank you' and Chef Benidetto deserves lots of thanks for the hard work and consistently great output from his talented kitchen staff. David works the Grazie pizza oven, and I recommend sitting up front to take in all the action!Chef Beni aims to please and we haven't been disappointed yet!

Although only about 6,000 yards from the blue tees, the course is very challenging. Many blind shots where positioning and strategy is important. The golf course is in very nice shape with carpet-like fairways. I highly recommend it.

Played a round yesterday for the first time since new ownership of the former Meadow Creek, now Four Oaks. The staff were all friendly and got us off about 15 minutes ahead of our tee time. The course was in great shape with lush tee boxes and fairways. Greens were in very nice condition also, especially considering last winter, where many area courses suffered damage to their greens. Now if only everyone would remember the adage of "repair your ball mark and one other"!GPS in the carts is very sophisticated, shutting down the cart if you wandered into an area where you did not belong, and forcing you to reverse your way out. This contributing to keeping the course in great shape. We teed off mid morning on a Saturday and finished in just under 4 1/2 hours, that's good course management for the pace of play and the way it should be everywhere. We will be back in a couple of weeks.

Located not too far from Interstate 93 this is a well maintained course that has continually improved since it opened. I golf here 1 time each year for a memorial tournament. It has a good mix of holes with much room around many of the fairways, some holes a little tighter surrounded by woods, and some water hazards (only if you are way off the fairway). Its not a very long course and has a number of scenic holes over a varied topography. The course sports a full service comfortable clubhouse with a bar and a grill, air conditioned seating inside, and outside porch seating looking out to the 18th hole. There is plenty of parking safely away from the course. The staff here was super-friendly. I wouldn't go here if you are just learning the game. However, mid-tier and good players will enjoy the game this course provides. The only negative is that it does not have a driving range.Four Oaks has moved to my list of nice courses conveniently located in my area that I will go to more often.
