On Labor, September 2014, while we travelled on Andrews Air Force Base with our cameras at the ready, a body armored soldier with a semi automatic rifle at the ready stopped us on Perimeter Road. He asked us politely to turn around as we were very close to the air field. And then at that very moment, Air Force One flew some 60 feet right over our heads as it came in for a landing. I told my wife to take a picture of that! The soldier ordered us to put all cameras away and to turn around. We did exactly that, and all that we have is this "fish story" with no pictures; but all that I said is true. My father asked how do you know that was Air Force One. I responded because I saw the Presidential Seal as if flew overhead. Long live the President, and may God abundantly bless the United States of America, her soldiers, sailors, marines, airmen, congress and people!

The base is nicely laid out. The AMC Passenger terminal staff is very courteous. Terminal itself is small, but it's all that the USAF needs. Was nice to see AF2 take off when I was there.

Very nice base with great facilities. The base has a lot of attractions expecially for active and retired military members.

i attended a 50th birthday party. Delicious hot food was served; and they served HOT ROLLS! what a treat! The staff was exceptional!

Just visited the club for a function and the exchange. Excellent food. Seafood was the speciality on the day I visited. Exchange had many items in it.
