This is a beautiful place, But the "Beach Vendors" are annoying as Hell! I do not want a massage, a Cigar, my hair braided... I just want to lay on the F-ing beach and enjoy the day.Leave me alone

I just came back from playa dorado hotel, I am not really like because the service it not good, and I book for king bed they give double bed. there is no sea food if u want to eat roster you have to pay $25us, the night time entertainment it very poor...., I don't know what to say a bout this, at the beach people bother too much, too many people sale stuff, I want to relax but they're keep asking you to buy, even in the hotel people keep asking you to be a vip member club and you have to pay $4500, they keep flow and ask, what the hill. worse then Cuba. It say 4 star but I will say 2 star

Nice beach, I prefer Sosua, but this beach is not bad, but its also not the best in the north coast. It's nice and chill though

We had a very nice time snorkelling just of the beach and saw many different fishes. There is to many sellers walking on the beach and saying no thank you to each and every one of them for several days is not what we wanted.

Probably the nicest beach I have ever visited, I was 23 and travelled alone for the first time, it really was a trip of personal discovery and profound growth. Locals were pretty cool, just a few too many beggars, but to be expected with the income they receive.

The beach is nice sand is fine and plenty of chairs, easy walk down the beach. Water is perfect. There are people selling things but if you say no thank you they will leave you alone. The water is pretty clear in most areas

We enjoyed the beach! Very long, you can have a jog or a walk. Francois poutine is a must do! you can swim and snorkle no problem.

Playa Dorada is a nice beach to relax on. During the winter months, it is a good place to refresh yourself. There are times however when the algae may get in the way. The water can be a little choppy at times. Overall, if you are looking for a place to just sit and relax, this is almost a perfect place. Beware of the Vendadores - the beach merchants; they can be a little aggressive at times.

Dive Pro advertised 2 jet skis. They had one. We were disappointed to waste a day. They said that they could get 2 but only gave us one for double the time.

You can take long Walks...don't need shoes...the view of the Mountain is very good...smile To the vendors but continué your way, they are everywhere...

We went for the day from Lifestyles, and found the beach very nice, but the water was so full of seaweed, we couldn't even swim. I was so thankful I wasn't staying in one of the resorts there.

Beach was somewhat littered with plant debris, but no garbage. Water was quite rough - we just jumped up and down in the surf. Too dangerous for kids or people who are not strong swimmers. Souvenir vendors were not bothersome. Bar & burger buffet right there.

The sand is spectacular, the beach is clean, the surf is great and the overall ambience is truly worth the day here. Should not miss the opportunity to spend a day here.
