Thought we should visit as had heard it was beautiful and yes it has got lovely white sand ( unusual for Tobago) and tourquoise water BUT it was very very busy, touristy, noisy, and you paid to get in and then extra for a sunbed! Can't see why you want to stay there when there are so many other lovely and almost deserted beaches !
A lovely beach with good swiming. Several polaces selling refreshments after 11am. Chairs and beds at a cost.
Nice sandy beach well protected from large waves. Lifeguards on duty from 10 until 6. Sun loungers available for hire.
Great place where you easily can spend the whole day. Washrooms and showers available. There is also a bar and a restaurant where you can play pool. The small entrance fee is only to preserve this beautiful beach and park. Plenty of water activities.
A great beach with good facilities for showering and changing, plus food and drink. There is a charge at the entrance of about 20 $TT (£2) each. White sand and blue water.Jet skis for hire and boat trips from the pier.BUT GO IN THE WEEK if you want to relax, it was really crowded the Sunday when we visited. It's an OK (30-40 minute walk from Crown Point area and you can sometimes get a boat from BuccooYES the sunsets are great.
Great place to relax on the Caribbean side of the island. Beautiful pier/pavilion to take sunset photos.
The sun seemed to always shine here, we could see it from our Hotel @ Crown point, so we visited for the afternoon and wished we had sooner. It had lovely soft sand, it wasn't crowded, clean & I loved the little shops there. A must visit when your on the Island.
Love this place had to go back another time love the white sand n blue waters makes this little place feel like a slice of heaven. Definitely recommend
Another must while in Tobago. The beach is set within a park and it cost 20 TT$ to enter. beach chairs cost the same if you fancy one. There is changing facilities, life guards, toilets, shops, restaurants and water sports. Its one of the best beaches I have ever visited. Calm clear blue beautiful waters and soft white sands. Better during the week when there is fewer people.
We had our lunch here during a 'round the island day trip. The sand was soft and white, the sea was blue, the food was tasty and the people were friendly, but we found it too commercialised for our tastes.
This was a beautiful place to have a wedding which I attended it was adorable lovely place to capture beautiful pictures
Pigeon Point is a National Heritage Park, and yes, you have to pay TT$20 (about US$3 each) to get in, but it's worth it. It's very nice, with large grassy areas, well maintained beach areas, and a nice swimming area. Because it's protected by a reef, the water is very calm, making it good for children. You can rent chairs, and there are restaurants available on the site. We went on a day when there was no cruise ship in town, so it was not crowded (word to the wise: you can find out the cruise ship schedule online--just search "Tobago Port Schedule" on Google--and don't go to Pigeon Point if a cruise ship will be in town. Not only will the facilities be very crowded, but there will be lots of traffic on the road to the park. Otherwise, it's lovely.
Water is clean and you can swim for hours. There are many places around to get good food as well. They have showers open to the public to use.
We only visited for a couple of hours but still worth the small entrance fee. The park is very well looked after and teeming with bird life. We didn't use the beach but spent some time watchingthe water sports. Something for everyone. Beach restaurants and bars had not opened but looked OK. Shops were the usual beach type. Free Wi-Fi.
it cost us 20 Trinidad dollars each (approx £1.90) to get in. It's a stunning location, don't forget your camera. The sun beds cost approx £2.90 pp. unfortunately we chose the day that the islands electricity was off so couldn't stay all day as all the restaurants were closed, but we will be back. Well worth a visit.
