Took my grandsons for a walk while the women shopped. It captures part of the harbor and looking out at the Caribbean sea.have done this several times, and love the views. Especially when a cruise ship is getting underway.
Take a time to straling along the park until the beach side. The sea breez make the feeling exceptional when you staring at the statue of queen Wilhelmina. The park really clean with nice plants and flowers landscape.
Statues and iguanas, so don't get your hopes up. Must be the largest colony of iguanas living/nesting under that tree near the water.
We found this park by accident when were looking for the West Deck restaurant. Its a nice well maintained and perfectly manicured park that's not too crowded so its a good place to sit or take a relaxing stroll but it is quite small. The statues of Queen Wilhelmina and Anne Frank are good tourist areas for taking pictures, but other than that there's not much else to offer except that its located right near the waterfront and on the main street where you can sit and watch the traffic go by.
Small park with a Statue along side main road...that is about the just of it...it is well maintained...we happened by can't see this as a destination but if in the area take a stroll or sit and watch the traffic!
nice quiet place to walk or just sit and rest, go there each time we visit the island, when we first went there it was all grown up, but now it is a really nice place to visit and walk, been going for about 18 years
We went on a tour in this park with Depalma Tours Jeep safary, it was a very interesting and fun view of the natural park which gave a view of how the island must have looked prior to all the development.
This park lies just outside the family portion of the Marriott Renaissance Aruba Resort & Casino hotel complex in Oranjestad. It is a nice park, well cared for, and has a statue of Quenn Wilhelmina and Anne Frank. No one does anything in this small park during the day, but in the evening, a lot of young people are there raptly moving their fingers over their smart phones. It must be some sort of hangout, but the main activity seems intently focused on the cell phoens, nothing else. Who knows why? Not I.
The park is not very big but it was a nice stroll and the path went along the water around the Renaissance hotel and the market place. My kids really liked the Iguanas and my daughter was doing a rough count and there was easily more than 50. So if you are in the downtown area and the market place this is nice stroll.
Just a park in Orangestadt that's pleasant to walk through. There is no way to miss it at all. to bad I need to fill out 50 characters.
Clean park with walking paths adjoining the renaissance ocean suites. Not a playground type park but while I was there the iguanas were fed some greens and there were around 30 out!
A sweet place to go with your kids or your partner in life take a stroll have a pick-nick and enjoy. what can I say about this place its just amazing clean and relaxing
Small but well maintained and clean park, including a beautiful statue of Anne Frank. In the park there are dozens of Green Iguanas and for me it became a sport to photograph these in a nice way, so I spent a lot of time here.
This is a beautiful seaside park with comfortable walking paths and a beautiful ocean view. A short walk from the cruise pier. Lots of iguanas!
We had rented a car and drove to the under-developed side of the island. I feel its a must to see because its different than where the hotels are situated. Be sure to take a tour of the bat cave when you are over in the park. Its interesting to see the goats and wild donkeys roaming freely. I don't know where exactly it was but along the way we pulled over in a parking lot and walked down some steep steps to an inlet where water was crashing on the rocks..It was beautiful so be sure you have a camera.
