The golf course is very well prepared and is situated in a nice area. Also for us as absolute beginners it was fun to play the 9 courses. The owners are very friendly.

Free Rental of average golf clubs. Well maintained course. Friendly staff. it is a nine hole that you play twice.

I hadn't played a round of golf in years, but after a number of sessions on the mini-putt and driving range here with my son, I thought he had enough interest for a first round of golf, and this course was just the ticket (as I see a couple of others have also noted). WIth the shorter tees to hit from on the longer holes, he made it through the 9 holes with enthusiasm to spare, while my shots found the rough frequently enough to keep me on my toes as well (not that I'm any kind of golf expert, I'll confess high 90's on a 6000 yard public course was par for me back in the day). Having visited Tobermory over the past 19 years, I've seen businesses come and go and unlike the much larger communities of southern Ontario you don't always get second third and fourth chances here. The owners here appear to be doing a great job with a course that is well matched to the community, and I'm looking forward to playing again after 20 odd years away from the game. We also ate at the Ancient Cedars restaurant (a separate business operation), which exceeded expectations.

Sweet little mini-putt course, and driving range, had the place to ourselves. Great for a first time golfing with my son.

I continue to believe that the Cornerstone Golf Course in Tobermory is one of the finest pieces of the experience up here. The restaurant (Ancient Cedars) is a real plus, too...so the 10th hole experience is as good as the previous nine. Occasionally there will be people who come here looking for a more challenging 18 holes, or for prices they may have experienced in Myrtle Beach or wherever. But for those of us spending some time here in Tobermory, we are cheek-to-jowl with a National Park, the seasons are short, everything is a bit more expensive and we are thankful for the Cornerstone!

This golf course worked perfectly well for a father-son golf outing, but definitely needs a little TLC. The mini-golf course attached is in even worse shape. For the prices they charge (80 dollars for two of us to do 9 holes with cart) I would have expected something a little better.

Never golfed but the food is to die for. Will be back again. Thanks for looking after my wife's food allergies so well.

Very nicely kept Cottage course. Smooth greens, decent fairways that can challenge and be fair to all handicaps.Fair price with packages available for multi play.T&T

Friendly and courteous staff, free golf club rental, very reasonable prices and when done you can complete your visit with a round of mini golf too.

When we golfed in the Troy Schmidt Memorial Golf Tournament our team received a gift certificate to golf at Cornerstone. Three of us had golfed there before , two not recently, and one, not at all. The course is in excellent shape and was fun to play. We were made to feel at home by Jeff and Diane. Marta's 4 would like to say thanks to Cornerstone for their support of the Bruce Peninsula Health Services Foundation and for being such gracious hosts, and maintaining such a nice golf course!Carl

Cornerstone Golf Club is my second favourite spot to spend some time (only 2nd to my place in Tobermory). Jeff and Diane take great pride in their ownership and it shows - every year they keep improving the course. I play 40-50 times a year there for the past 6 years and it's rare I don't see the ground crew out and about. It's great for a quick 9 or if you want to spend more time, 18 will offer you a different view on the back 9. It's challenging for me but forgiving enough to keep a few balls in play!New this year - they are allowing you to take you dog with you, if well behaved. How great is that to get exercise for yourself and your pet at the same time! My dog, Toby, and Jeff and Diane's dog, Stella, just have a wonderful time while I hack away at the ball.Another good thing to note is they provide free club rentals so if you can't fit clubs into the car with everything else you're bringing to the Tub, then no worries, they have you covered. It's a great place and the only disappointment you may feel is with your own golf swing!

Played here years ago before current owners bought and renovated the course and clubhouse. Though not a fancy 'resort' course, it has been improved immensely under new owners. The course is on a beautiful piece of property and is very walkable (carts available too) and is just a few minutes drive from downtown Tobermory (next nearest course is about an hour away) - perfect for a quick nine before joining the family for other activities. It is a forgiving enough course that less experienced golfers won't get frustrated but enough of a test to keep your game sharp. It is a nine hole track but the club has added another full set of tee decks on each hole so that you can play 18 and not feel like you played the same holes over again.Beautiful patio to relax on with a 'cold one' and some food (whether playing or not). They do have a driving range and the owner is a qualified golf instructor (I did take a lesson and was very happy with the resulting improvements to my swing!)All in all another fun activity on the 'Tip 'o The Bruce'

Great Golf, Fantastic Food all with excellent service.I would definitely recommend a visit, if you are not a golfer the restaurant is a great spot for an evening dinner or a light lunch. Our overall experience was very enjoyable.

Nice Casual atmosphere. Great for any golfer. Friendly staff. A holiday must even for us novice players.

Cornerstone is a nine-hole, links style course that every level of golfer can enjoy. With well-thought out multiple tee decks, you can play it as 18 and have a significantly different back nine than front. The superintendent, Jeff, keeps the course in very playable condition and improves the course every year. Dianne in the pro shop greets everyone with a smile and ensures that your round starts out positively. This year, the restaurant at the course is being run by Ancient Cedars. Those of us who play Cornerstone regularly are looking forward to the new restaurateurs and menu. Jeff is a CPGA teaching pro and offers lessons; He's a very good teacher. The course also has a driving range and practice green for you to warm up or work on your game.
