elora quarry conservation area

I had fun camping here mainly because I was with friends, but my experience wasn't all that great. The campsites aren't secluded at all and we felt very exposed, which wasn't ideal. The showers cost small change to use and were absolutely freezing. The facilities also could have been cleaner. The park itself is pleasant to walk around in, but it wasn't breathtaking. My favourite part was wandering through the town of Elora.

If you are looking for a nice place to spend half a day, swimming and hanging out with friends, that's the place to go. I thought the quarry would have more things to do, but for only $ 5.75 I can't complain. The water is extremely freezing at first, but after a while you get used to it. Be aware that this lake is utterly deep, don't cross the security rope if you aren't a good swimmer.

We get there for half a day to a day. It is more than enough to enjoy swimming, cliff jumping, walk around the quarry, and anything else the quarry can offer.It is fairly cheap and we go there at least couple times a year. On the long weekend or if the weather is exceptionally great, it gets populated pretty fast and at times feels crowed, but we always can find a spot for us.

It was an exhilarating experience jumping into the quarry. We enjoyed the afternoon at the quarry, water was surprisingly warm.

This place is amazing. I didn't actually jump off the cliff but did go swimming the water was a welcome relief from the warm day.

Because you're too busy thinking about how the water could be cleaner (yuck) and the garbage picked up (lack of refuse bins?). Perhaps the installation of life saving devices would be prudent?! Felt rather uneasy about what was lurking below the surface - hey I'm not saying add chemicals, just spend some income on scooping out crud. I can't believe I went in ! shudder.

Elora é uma cidade pequena mas com excelente estrutura para turistas. Passamos meio dia com crianças e idosos nesse local deliciosos. Dia de verão, a temperatura da água estava agradável. O acesso é excelente. Vale a experiência.
