The golf course itself is non-descript and they put way too many people through. They do have good fall specials but other than that the regular prices are not a great value.
Our company recently held its annual golf tournament at Cardinal, as we have done for the past number of years. We took over both the east & west courses due to the number of golfers that played. We found the course to be in good condition and well maintained, albeit a bit wet. This was the first year that our post golf meal was lacking which they blamed on a new food & beverage manager. On the whole, Cardinal is a good golf course located north of Toronto.
This golf club offers 4 courses for the novice to seasoned golfers. Both men and women can enjoy an outing at this club. All courses are well groomed and maintained.
This is a very well laid out and challenging golf course. We played the East course and found tight fairways, great views with elevated tees, and super challenging par fours. One thing I didnt like was having to pay for ball markers. Other than that, I recommend this course for intermediate golfers (such as myself).
The manager ROB is absolutely nuts, yes some of the staff are kind but that doesn't count. ROB treats his employees with disrespect and numerous times I have seen him swear around children and guests. My husband and I chose to opt out from this golf course because of his behavior, such a shame. Now we are at Phoenix Hill and love it! Friendly staff and great course.
Thanks for the review. Glad to hear you had a good experience at Cardinal!
I've played Redcrest for the last couple of years as a member of the 'Men's League' … it's a nice facility … tough enough to challenge your 'game' … nice enough to make you feel you're on a great course … and friendly enough to make you feel 'at home' Great location … with Cardinal's Main facility 'around the corner' literally … you can practice … putt … and play
For the past several years, I have made a point of playing golf at one the many courses within purview of the Cardinal Golf Club. With the opening of the more challenging RedCrest course a couple of years ago, the Cardinal now offers more options for golfers of all expertise from across the GTA.I would highly recommend this complex for your next round.
I go yearly for a round at Cardinal sometimes more then once. It a very good course for the price they always get you off the 1st tee at the time you book.
Beautiful surroundings and a great track to be on , very relaxing. Good food and great service. If you have a tournament their pricing is right on as well.
While I've never golfed there, I have played the mini putt many times and have always had a fun time. So if you're an actual golfer or just a serious mini-putter this place is for you!
Cardinal golf club is accessible, close to the 400 highway and highway 9. Compared to other courses it is more expensive. Carts are mandatory, especially on the premium Red Crest course. In all cases there is a great similarity among the holes, with average difficulty, generous fairways and relatively slow greens. The club facilities reflect the fact that this is primarily for corporate events and banquets, and the prices reflect that. If you can afford it fine, but not on a slow weekend when it will take you more than 5 hours for a round
I don't play golf but I have been to events at the banquet hall and they were lovely. Excellent food and service
I play at Cardinal every week. It has something for everyone with 4 x 18 hole courses. Kettlecreek is the executive course. Then Cardinal East and West courses and finally Redcrest, their higher end course with the best patio in the area. A must to visit!!
