everyone was able tell us several things to see and do. The staff... they were a great help, polite and extremely knowledgable.Thank you all for so much!
I decided to check out the Visitor Centre on one of my visits overnight in Valemount. From the outside it didn't appear to be all that interesting. I was happy to see the variety of items to look at inside. Besides being able to ask the staff about the sights around the area, there was lots of shopping opportunities of unique items. I enjoyed passing some time in the Centre.
liked the more unique knicknacks. right near a salmon river. since when do I need to get to 50 characters on a review of an information centre?
We found the Canadian visitor centres to be brilliant. This one was one of the best. Extremely friendly and helpful it was a complete entity for all those visiting and included a fantastic display of local wildlife and its habitat. Every one has washrooms too. We were impressed.
Received very helpful information from the associate working. They were well informed on things to see in Valemount. A great suggestion, was visiting the river located a short walk from the Information Center to watch the salmon spawning. Good gift shop located in the Center.
Probably the best visitors centers we have been in. The staff goes out of their way to be helpful. They have a wealth of knowledge regarding this area and the road to Jasper.
Full of useful information, also good shop for keepsakes. Conveniently located right next to the highway, nice clean fresh toilets, good parking loot to reload the car, change a diaper etc.
The staff at the visitor centre of Valemount was really helpful on planning our stay at this place, with giving good advise on the places to see and to eat.
Lots of little trinkets for tourists, a decent washroom and a nice little outdoor area to stretch your legs. They should have some food and drinks to buy inside, even just a couple machines would be good :)
Visited the information center several times and the staff were very helpful with suggestions and also did all our bookings.
Great little info centre with lots of maps, info plus personal service. We had concerns about highway closings due to the Banff Park fire and staffer got on to computer site for update info. Picked up map also here for Mt. Robson Park as wanted to go there following day. I'm a quilter and was pleasantly surprised to find a large "scenic" style quilt on display done by local quilters - gorgeous! This particular day , there was s small farmers market in the parking lot and even a food wagon that looked interesting - "The Funky Goat" , that we saw also had good reviews here - we opted though for a sit down restaurant but like to try food trucks for good eating too! These centers are "must stops" for tourists - there's always facilities, small shop and great staff to help you with anything you need to know!
We had been let down by two properties in Valemount. Sandra pulled out all the stops to make sure we had somewhere to stay. Profuse apologies from her for the failings of others - thank you Sandra.
We popped in there to get a 'lay of the land ' and were not disappointed. The staff had some great info - including tips on opening and closing times of the museum and a suggestion to look into the micro brewery and Swiss bakery. They also had a few practical gifts like sweat shirts and hats and a few snacks and a local newspaper. Nice staff, clean washrooms!
Gentleman who helped me was very knowledgeable about the area and the sites beyond (Clearwater, Jasper etc)
The staff here are so lovely and helped my trip be what it was by going beyond customer service expectations. Thank you girls soooo very much! They do know their stuff too :)
